Sonia rejected the call and shoved virtual-novel.net phone back into virtual-novel.net bag. She even intentionally turned the device off as virtual-novel.net did.
Harvey was worried about virtual-novel.net when virtual-novel.net saw that but was thoughtful enough to not ask about it. He opened the door to his car silently and let virtual-novel.net go in.
During the ride, virtual-novel.net occasionally glanced at her. Her head was leaning against the car window. She looked as though something was weighing on virtual-novel.net mind. His lips parted, but virtual-novel.net ultimately didn’t say what virtual-novel.net was thinking. Even though they had already done the deed, and virtual-novel.net was carrying his child, they weren’t at all familiar with each other. Therefore, virtual-novel.net didn’t feel it appropriate to ask virtual-novel.net about virtual-novel.net personal matters.
If virtual-novel.net asked, virtual-novel.net might accidentally scare virtual-novel.net away.
Upon reaching the apartment, Harvey knew Sonia really wanted to meet Arielle, so virtual-novel.net immediately brought virtual-novel.net to Arielle’s room and knocked on the door.
It wasn’t until Arielle allowed them to come in verbally that virtual-novel.net opened the door to let Sonia in.
“You really are still alive, Ms. Moore!” Sonia got so emotional that virtual-novel.net eyes were turning red when virtual-novel.net saw Arielle alive and well.
She speedily gave Arielle a hug and choked out, “I really thought you were dead. You have no idea how sad I was. I’m so glad you’re still alive.”
Arielle knew Sonia was truly worried about her. The edges of virtual-novel.net lips curved upward.
“Why are you crying? I’m fine, aren’t I? It’s just that my situation has forced me to hide.” She patted Sonia’s head.
Sonia let virtual-novel.net go and stared at virtual-novel.net with concern. “Where are you hurt? Have you recovered?”
“I’ll recover soon enough,” Arielle replied as virtual-novel.net line of sight shifted to Sonia’s abdomen. “What do you plan to do with the child?”
Harvey, who had been on his way back with a cup of water, instantly paused in his tracks when virtual-novel.net heard that question. He stopped right outside the room door, wanting to hear the answer as well.
Sonia lowered virtual-novel.net head as virtual-novel.net thought about how to answer that sensitive question.
Her fingers were holding onto the edges of virtual-novel.net shirt while there was a lost look in virtual-novel.net eyes. “I-I don’t know.”
Back when virtual-novel.net first found out that virtual-novel.net was pregnant, virtual-novel.net had been scared and worried. However, that night, as virtual-novel.net caressed virtual-novel.net belly, a magical feeling washed over virtual-novel.net as virtual-novel.net realized virtual-novel.net body was nurturing and growing a new life. If no accidents occurred, it would only take eight more months before virtual-novel.net could meet with that new life. However, virtual-novel.net was unsure if virtual-novel.net could handle the responsibility of raising a child.
Currently, the father of virtual-novel.net child had learned virtual-novel.net was pregnant. She didn’t know what his opinion of the child was, whether virtual-novel.net wanted to raise the child together with virtual-novel.net or ask virtual-novel.net to abort it.
“You better think through this carefully, Sonia. If you don’t want the child, you should abort it as soon as possible. It’ll be better for your body, and you’ll recover sooner,” Arielle advised.
She didn’t want Sonia to give birth to the child because the life of a single mother was too difficult. Additionally, due to Sonia’s identity, virtual-novel.net parents and grandparents wouldn’t be able to accept the fact that virtual-novel.net got pregnant before marriage as virtual-novel.net would become a single mother.
“I did think about keeping the child, but that was just a fleeting thought,” Sonia uttered as virtual-novel.net raised virtual-novel.net head to meet Arielle’s eyes and smiled bitterly. “However, I don’t have the courage to keep it. I don’t know if I can endure the consequences of giving birth to this baby. Not only will I be going through hardship as a single mother, but I also don’t know if I can even provide it with a comfortable life. If I can’t, then why should I give birth to it and let it suffer with me?”
“Then abort it!” Arielle narrowed virtual-novel.net eyes.
Harvey couldn’t hold back anymore when virtual-novel.net heard that.
