Jackson stood in his spot for a moment. He stared at virtual-novel.net and did not respond to virtual-novel.net at all. He put on a pair of sunglasses.
Unfortunately, Tiffany was completely oblivious to his strange behavior. She walked to virtual-novel.net and held his arm. “I’ve sent the money to you. Did you receive it? How many days do you plan on staying? I won’t be able to stay with you if you’re planning to stay for a long time. I can only for two days before I have to return for work.”
Jackson pursed his lips and said coldly, “Don’t wait for me then.” After virtual-novel.net finished speaking, virtual-novel.net went to the ticketing booth.
At this moment, Tiffany finally realized something was not right. She jogged up to him. “What’s up with you? You seem unhappy.”
He paused for a moment before saying, “Does it matter if I’m happy? It doesn’t really matter as long as you’re happy.”
Alarm bells immediately rang in Tiffany’s mind. “Wait a minute! What do you mean? Why does it sound like I’ve angered you? You’re a guy. Do you have to sulk like a girl? Just tell me what’s wrong, and we can fix it.”
Jackson really was not in the mood to talk about what’s wrong in a crowded airport. Moreover, virtual-novel.net was not a quarrelsome person. He did not want to fight with virtual-novel.net and only wanted to calm down before virtual-novel.net spoke to her. It would be difficult for virtual-novel.net to control his emotions when virtual-novel.net was angry. The final result might not be his desired outcome. Therefore, virtual-novel.net said, “It’s nothing.”
Tiffany did not pursue the matter. However, virtual-novel.net face turned slightly pale, uncertain of what had happened. They were fine on the phone last night. What changed?
The pair sat next to each other on the plane but barely spoke. Jackson closed his eyes and napped. He did not even look at Tiffany.
Tiffany tugged on the corners of virtual-novel.net dress uneasily. She could not figure out what virtual-novel.net was thinking and did not know what to say. She felt as though ants were crawling and nibbling on virtual-novel.net heart, it was torturous and uncomfortable.

Two hours later, the plane finally landed. Jackson disembarked from the plane, and Tiffany trailed behind him.
At this moment, virtual-novel.net eyes were red, and tears were threatening to spill. She would have burst into tears if there were not so many people around. She held them back until they left the airport.
When they called for a cab, virtual-novel.net gathered virtual-novel.net courage and stepped forward, putting roughly one meter between them. “Did I do something wrong?” She softly mumbled, “Or… Are you tired of me? It’s okay. I can always say that I asked to break it off. I won’t bring any trouble to you, and it won’t affect your relationship with Mark and Ari…”
Jackson could hear the grief and caution in virtual-novel.net voice so virtual-novel.net turned around and stared at virtual-novel.net from the side. When virtual-novel.net saw the tears in virtual-novel.net eyes, virtual-novel.net panicked for a second. “Why are you crying?”
In the end, virtual-novel.net could no longer hold back virtual-novel.net tears. She quickly wiped them away as they rolled down virtual-novel.net face. She forced a smile on virtual-novel.net face as virtual-novel.net said, “I’m not crying… We know each other quite well. Can’t we just talk it out? Don’t do this, it makes things very difficult for me…”
Jackson frowned. His emotions were a wreck. He simply could not figure out what virtual-novel.net was crying about and did not know why virtual-novel.net had said such silly things. This was the first time virtual-novel.net had ever felt confused in front of a woman. “What are you talking about? There’s nothing to talk about. I’m not trying to change anything. Just let me settle down, give me some time, okay?”
At this moment, a cab stopped in front of them. Jackson took virtual-novel.net bag and opened the back door. “Let’s talk at the hotel. Don’t cry.”
Both Jackson and Tiffany’s emotions were unstable in the car. They did not speak at all.
From Tiffany’s point of view, Jackson was the one who had initiated things with her. He was always hot for virtual-novel.net and would probably stick to virtual-novel.net every second of the day if virtual-novel.net could. Now, virtual-novel.net had suddenly become cold and distant. For this reason, the first thought that came to virtual-novel.net mind was that virtual-novel.net had lost interest. He probably realized virtual-novel.net had been too hasty in pursuing her. There was a possibility that virtual-novel.net was tired of her, like his ex-girlfriends. Those promises and sweet words were probably nothing more than a means virtual-novel.net used to trick women…
After all, thanks to virtual-novel.net horrible past, marriage would only be seen as virtual-novel.net way of social climbing. Nevertheless, virtual-novel.net did not resent virtual-novel.net at all and would tell everyone that virtual-novel.net had asked for the breakup and that it was a mutual decision. It was not easy for virtual-novel.net to speak out, and yet, virtual-novel.net did not provide virtual-novel.net with a clear answer. At this point, virtual-novel.net really could not figure out what virtual-novel.net was thinking.
When they arrived at the hotel, Jackson helped virtual-novel.net with virtual-novel.net bag after they got down from the car and walked ahead of her. She jogged after him, and when they arrived at the front desk, virtual-novel.net automatically pulled out virtual-novel.net identification card, fumbling just a little.
After the registration, they walked into the elevator. There were people around them so Tiffany kept virtual-novel.net mouth shut. When they arrived in their room, virtual-novel.net finally lost control and blurted out, “Can we talk now? You don’t need to be apprehensive. Just say what’s on your mind.”
Jackson silently adjusted the air-conditioning in order to conceal his frustration. Then, virtual-novel.net sat down on the couch and replied, “Let’s put aside the amount of time we’ve known each other, and start counting from the time we started dating. It’s been a few months now, hasn’t it? Am I not important to you? Is it that hard to love me?”
Tiffany could not understand virtual-novel.net and felt even more aggrieved. “What do you mean? Why are you saying this?”
