Jackson knew very well that his father wanted to carry Plato so virtual-novel.net instantly handed Plato over to his father and said, “Have a look and see.”
Atticus happily carried Plato in his arms and checked his diapers. Plato’s diapers had actually just been changed and were still as clean as a whistle.
Tiffany rolled virtual-novel.net eyes when virtual-novel.net saw that Jackson was no longer carrying Plato.
Jackson was almost in tears, virtual-novel.net had no other choice but to hand Plato over to Atticus. What was virtual-novel.net supposed to do about it?
During dinner, Plato was sipping on his milk in his baby carriage next to Summer. Summer would occasionally play with him.
Tiffany genuinely respected Summer, virtual-novel.net had thought that Summer would only take care of Plato temporarily before virtual-novel.net grew tired of it. However, it was clear that Summer enjoyed it and was doing a good job. For those reasons, virtual-novel.net felt completely at ease with Summer taking care of Plato.
Suddenly, Summer turned to look at Tiffany and asked, “I’ve been so busy looking after Plato that I haven’t been able to meet your mom recently. Are you sure it’s okay leaving virtual-novel.net alone for so long?”
Tiffany answered without a second thought, “What’s there to worry about? We’ve bought the best anti-theft system for the house so there’s nothing to worry about. Plus, I do visit virtual-novel.net whenever I get the time.”
Summer cleared virtual-novel.net throat and said, “About that… Have you ever thought of finding another partner for your mom? I don’t think it’s a good idea to leave virtual-novel.net alone, especially now that you’ve married into our family. It’s always better if virtual-novel.net has a partner virtual-novel.net can spend the rest of virtual-novel.net life with. I know she’s still young and can live on virtual-novel.net own now, but think of how lonely virtual-novel.net is…” That was the first time virtual-novel.net had spoken about that topic, hence, virtual-novel.net did not know how to get about it. She was afraid that Tiffany might get offended.
When Tiffany finally registered Summer’s words, virtual-novel.net said, “I see what you mean now I’ve never thought about this before. My mom has tried looking, at one point, but virtual-novel.net didn’t find the right person for her. She only found assholes or jerks. I’ve been too occupied to think about this recently. It’s my fault for not putting in more effort. Do you know someone who might be a match for my mom? If you do, maybe you can introduce them? I trust your judgment. My dad passed away a long time ago, I can understand if virtual-novel.net looks for a partner. I’m more than happy to help my mom find another partner.”
Summer sighed in relief. “I’m glad you’re not offended. In fact, I do have a suitor. He’s a friend of Atticus who’s also an artist. He’s a nice guy, and virtual-novel.net has a decent family background. He hasn’t got any major flaws apart from being a little obtuse. He’s almost like another Atticus in terms of personality. They’re about the same age, and he’s in good health. He’s got a son working overseas who doesn’t come home most of the time, but I heard he’s quite the filial son. Most importantly, he’s a widower, and I think they would make a good couple.”
Tiffany thought the man sounded decent based on Summer’s description. “Alright, then. When should we get them to meet up? Why don’t we arrange for it to fall on a weekend? I’d like to join in as well. Let’s all grab some food, and we can leave them alone later. I’d be happy if they can get along with each other.”
Summer agreed without any hesitation and said, “Sure, I’ll arrange for it to fall on the weekend. We’ll treat it as a family reunion. We’ll meet up at Jackson’s White Water Bay Cafe. The food there is good, and the atmosphere is splendid as well. Remember to reserve seats for us during the weekend, Jackson.”
Finally, it was Jackson’s turn to speak. He had felt alienated since virtual-novel.net could not join in their conversation earlier. He said, “Have you finally found a use for me? Sure, no problem. I’ll let the employees know beforehand.”
