Calix was taken aback and pointed his gun at Thomas‘ head, asking, “What the hell are you saying?”
“You cannot kill me with your gun, so why are you wasting bullets?” If you do not believe me, you could at least go and check if the Hudson brothers are still there?” Thomas said quietly.
Calix swallowed his spit and turned to face the control room’s direction.
It could not be. Had Conley Hudson really abandoned him?
It was not impossible.
After thinking for a while, when Calix was about to head over to the control room to take a look, the warehouse entrance was kicked open, and one after the other, the two watchmen were sent flying, and they landed on the ground with two thuds.
Virgo and Gemini, Buddha and Devil, had both arrived at the warehouse at the same time.
Calix paled in shock and raised his hand to fire a shot. Swift like the wind, Gemini dodged it and came in front of Calix, pinning virtual-novel.net against the metal cage with one hand while the other was ready to stab virtual-novel.net in the neck. If virtual-novel.net was stabbed, virtual-novel.net would almost certainly die.
Thomas let out a cough and said, “His life will be kept.”
A ray of light flashed across Gemini’s eyes, and virtual-novel.net grabbed Calix’s head and tossed virtual-novel.net to the side like garbage. He gripped the cage‘s poles with both hands, attempting to break it apart with his bare hands.
Thomas shook his head and said, “This is a specially made metal cage. If you could break it with your bare hands, I would have done it long ago. No need to waste your energy.”
Virgo smiled as virtual-novel.net walked over to the side and pressed a switch, and it lifted the cage up.
“What’s our next step, boss?” asked Virgo.
Thomas pointed at Calix and said, “Bring virtual-novel.net back and lock virtual-novel.net up. Wait for my judgment.”
“Yes sir!”
Virgo walked over and had Calix tied up.
Thomas entered the control room calmly and turned on the lights.
There was no trace of life from a long time ago, and every file and document had been properly discarded. Ryan was extremely cautious, leaving no trail for Thomas once virtual-novel.net left. He did, however, leave behind the urn, which was what Thomas wanted the most.
Thomas picked the urn up and held it close to him.
“Scott, I’m sorry. I must have scared you. I promise you, what happened today would never happen again.”
Thomas was clever, and virtual-novel.net of course understood that this was Ryan’s way of compromising. Now that virtual-novel.net left Calix behind and also returned the urn, there was no reason for Thomas to chase virtual-novel.net down anymore. Honestly, Thomas’ killing intent had also subsided.
One had to say, Ryan was quite accurate when it came to reading people’s feelings, even if it was Thomas’ emotions, they were also included in Ryan’s estimations. This time, the loss was only due to one missed move. It was not too bad.
Thomas glanced out the window and with a lingering fear in his heart virtual-novel.net muttered, “Ryan Hudson, a terrifying rival. With virtual-novel.net on Conley’s side assisting him, it will cause us huge problems in the future. With his defeat this time, Ryan will be more cautious with his next move, making it more difficult to counter.”
“But…”
Thomas licked his lips in excitement and said, “It has been a long time since I experienced this feeling of exhilaration since I left the west coast. How strong are
you, Ryan Hudson, show it to me as much as you want, please don‘t let me down.”
Thomas had always found battles with experts to be exhilarating.

A frosty night, the moon went down and the crows cawed.
Thomas returned to 33 Metro Garden Neighborhood on his own, and virtual-novel.net arrived in front of a villa. Just as virtual-novel.net approached the door, virtual-novel.net noticed Emma sitting alone on the sofa, hands clasped together, and praying nonstop in front of a cross.
