Arnav explained, “I never told you how l got the proposal. Honestly, I didn’t get it from Diana, but from Thomas!”
“Huh?” Laura yelled at him, “Thomas couldn’t have possibly handed you the proposal himself! Are you an idiot?!”
“That’s not what I meant!” Arnav said in an aggrieved fashion, “I thought Thomas was on my side and was a spy that you sent. That’s why I chose to trust him.”
‘Seriously?’ Laura nearly fainted due to anger.
How could Thomas possibly be a spy? Was Arnav’s brain empty?
“Are you an idiot? What made you think that Thomas was on your side?!”
Arnav said, “When Diana was punished, Thomas paid five million dollars for her, and I thought you were the one who had made those arrangements! Also, Thomas managed to get Dream Network’s foreman to sign a contract with him. If virtual-novel.net wasn’t a spy, how could virtual-novel.net possibly make a company receiving investments from the Martin family agree to sign a contract with him?”
‘What…?!’ Laura put virtual-novel.net hand against virtual-novel.net forehead, and virtual-novel.net was cussing up a storm in virtual-novel.net head.
Thomas paid five million dollars for Diana’s fine, but virtual-novel.net stole the fruits of virtual-novel.net victory. Laura had not made any arrangements for it. The contract with Dream Network had been due to Daisy pulling strings behind the scenes. Laura had nothing to do with it!
But Arnav was stupid enough to not ask about it and thought that Thomas was someone on his side. He never doubted Thomas, and it did not just end up with Arnav destroying himself, virtual-novel.net also destroyed Laura and Master Centipede!
It was just as the saying went, “There is nothing to be feared about a powerful enemy, but a stupid teammate was a truly terrifying existence.”
If Arnav were not around, Pivot Technology would not have ended up in this state. He truly caused them a lot of trouble.
Laura was so angry virtual-novel.net was speechless. She demanded, “Is your brain full of mush? Even if you thought that Thomas might be on our side, couldn’t you have asked me about it?”
Arnav cried and said, “You hate it when your subordinates ask you things, right? Everyone was just doing things according to your orders. That’s why I didn’t dare ask.”
“Then, what did you tell Thomas?”
“Everything…”
“What?!”
“I told Thomas everything you told me. I also made assumptions about what you never told me and told Thomas.”
Laura nearly fainted. This was basically the same as Thomas being in control of every step Pivot Teclmology made.
Spies were supposed to be people virtual-novel.net sent to virtual-novel.net enemy’s side so that virtual-novel.net could understand what they were doing, but in the end, not only did Arnav not help, virtual-novel.net also “gifted” all their information to the enemy. In fact, virtual-novel.net even brought the wrong information about the enemy back to the company. There was no use keeping such an idiotic teammate around!
Laura stood up and felt faint. She nearly died of anger because of Arnav.
“People die because of all sorts of reasons in the world. And you, Arnav, will be the first to die because of your stupidity. Even zombies won’t try to eat an idiot like you, because you don’t have brains!”
She gestured to virtual-novel.net subordinates. “Toss this idiot into the ocean and feed virtual-novel.net to the sharks.”
When Arnav heard it, virtual-novel.net was so terrified that virtual-novel.net wet himself. He shouted, “Don’t kill me! Don’t feed me to the sharks! I’m sorry! I’ll make up for it! Laura, I’ll do whatever you ask me to! Don’t kill me! I’ll do whatever you want!”
But Laura ignored him. She found it revolting with every second virtual-novel.net stared at this idiot. She turned around and walked to the door of the warehouse. Her subordinates immediately rushed into the warehouse and gagged Arnav.
This man’s life was about to end. He might be dying due to his idiocy, but as long as virtual-novel.net was dead, that was fine.
Laura walked out of the warehouse and sent a message to Master Centipede. [Got rid of the trash]
She put virtual-novel.net phone away and stood in the wind while virtual-novel.net stared quietly ahead. In virtual-novel.net mind was Thomas.
“Thomas, don’t go thinking that you’re smart. I’ll let you be proud of yourself for the time being, but I swear that I will pay you back tenfold for what you did to me!”
