Dragon Claw was extremely happy. Nobody ever dared to compete with virtual-novel.net when it came to darts. It never happened!
He glanced at Thomas as virtual-novel.net chuckled and said, “Lad, you don’t know me, so you don’t know how good I am at playing darts. I don’t want to bully an ignorant person, so I think you better pick a different competition. If we compete in darts, you’ll definitely lose.”
He was incredibly confident.
Thomas smiled faintly as well, “There’s no need for that. I’m pretty good at playing darts too. I make the owner of the dart booth cry at the carnival every year.”
Dragon Claw laughed, “Haha! Are you kidding me? You want to defeat me with your poor skills?”
“Why don’t we give it a try?”
“Okay!” Dragon Claw said, “Let’s compete. If you win, I’ll refuse the $500,000 and you can take the old man with you. If I win, haha! I’ll dig out the old man’s eyes!”
It was a terrifying bet.
The farmer was so scared that his legs trembled. It was not that virtual-novel.net did not believe in Thomas’ ability, but virtual-novel.net did not have the mental fortitude for such a thing. If Thomas made a mistake and lost to the man, the farmer would lose his eyes!
When the farmer thought about it, virtual-novel.net could stop his legs from shaking.
Pisces walked over and patted the farmer on the shoulder. “Don’t worry, Mr. Hackett. The commander is capable, so please have faith that he’ll win.”
Have faith?
How could virtual-novel.net have faith?
The farmer could not stand still anymore. He just squatted on the floor, put his hands on his mouth, and silently prayed.
Soon, the crowd scattered, and Heron took out the target that Dragon Claw usually used for practice.
“Master, where should I put this?” virtual-novel.net asked.
Dragon Claw extended his leg and drew a horizontal line before virtual-novel.net said, “Three hundred meters away from this horizontal line.”
Three hundred meters?
That was an insane distance!
Forget throwing the dart, would virtual-novel.net even be able to see the red heart on the target?
Besides, even if virtual-novel.net could see that far, virtual-novel.net might not have the strength to throw the dart over. Not only a dart, but it would even be hard to aim at the target and fire a bullet.
Perhaps one could only aim at it with a sniper rifle?
Everyone was shaking their heads, and they only had one thought, this guy was laying it on thick.
Heron silently measured the distance and placed the target three hundred meters away. It was extremely far. Three hundred meters did not sound very far, but it was ridiculously far when one looked at it on the spot.
How strong was virtual-novel.net to be able to throw a dart so far?
Pisces was also shocked. “Oh, my goodness. That’s really far, isn’t it?”
While everyone watched, Dragon Claw took out a dart and took a deep breath. “Watch me, everyone!”
He took a step back, bent his body to the side, and spread his arms out. Then, virtual-novel.net exerted some strength on his waist and moved forward. His arm moved in a semi-circle in the air.
Dragon Claw threw the dart when his arm reached its highest point. His movements made virtual-novel.net look like virtual-novel.net was throwing a javelin in the Olympics. But virtual-novel.net was throwing a dart, not a javelin.
That method of throwing allowed virtual-novel.net to throw further.
The problem was, virtual-novel.net might not be able to control the aim. If there was a slight deviation, it would land somewhere else past three hundred meters.
Forget hitting the bullseye, it would be great enough if virtual-novel.net could even touch the target board.
Phew!
The dart flew over speedily as everyone watched.
Thump!
The dart hit the target right at the center!
It was precise!
