The undercover agents were dumbfounded.
What the heck was happening?
Only then did they realize that it was not so easy to fool the citizens. Not everyone was an idiot. There were too many people, so the undercover agents were unable to rush out. They were surrounded by the large crowd and slapped in the face.
Just like that, the crowd vented their anger on the undercover agents.
When the police officers in the distance noticed that something was wrong, they put in a lot of effort to pull the undercover agents out.
By the time the police officers brought them away, all of the undercover agents’ faces had been severely punched, and they looked tragic.
The undercover agents cried and begged the police to take them away quickly. They had never been so desperate to be jailed like that before. If they continued to stay there for a little longer, they would be beaten to death!
On the tall building far away, Dragon Claw placed his telescope down.
“Well, we lost again,” virtual-novel.net said unhappily.
Heron echoed his sentiment. “Damn it! Everything was ruined by a stupid old lady!”
Dragon Claw chuckled. “Now you know what it means by ‘good people always have a lot of help’, right? This is the difference between good and bad people. Thomas is used to doing many good deeds, so when virtual-novel.net encounters difficulty, someone will step forth and help him. I’m really envious.”
If the same thing happened to Dragon Claw, no one would ever stand up for him.
Forget helping virtual-novel.net solve the problem, it would be good enough if people did not kick virtual-novel.net when virtual-novel.net was down.
“Master, what should we do now?”
“What should we do?” Dragon Claw threw his telescope aside. “Go home and sleep. Let’s get some rest before we talk again. Dealing with Thomas is exhausting.”

After the crowd calmed down, they did not do anything aggressive to Thomas and Abner anymore.
Thomas, Abner, and the old lady were then admitted to the ward. Once the doctors took care of them, they slowly recovered.
Although Thomas was the most injured, virtual-novel.net was extremely healthy, so virtual-novel.net recovered the quickest.
After Thomas received the best treatment, virtual-novel.net made sure virtual-novel.net had enough sleep and had a sumptuous meal. He recovered 70% of his health and looked fine now.
The old lady was also fine. She had been kicked once, so virtual-novel.net injury was not too serious.
Abner was in the worst condition.
He had been hit by rotten eggs for a while, but virtual-novel.net had also just recovered from being paralyzed for a dozen years. Unfortunately, virtual-novel.net had recently been forced to kneel, so virtual-novel.net had suffered physical and mental torture. As a result, his current condition was quite terrible.
He had been lying on the hospital bed for about twenty hours and receiving the best treatment, but his leg injury had yet to recover. With how things were going, virtual-novel.net was likely going to become paralyzed and disabled again.
Abner had just recovered for a few days and walked on his legs for a while. Now virtual-novel.net had to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair again.
Thinking about it made virtual-novel.net incredibly upset!
Thomas even personally examined Abner. Although Thomas’ medical skills were advanced, virtual-novel.net still could not cure Abner’s leg injury.
Everyone was overwhelmed with pain.
Right then, a doctor said, “Mr. Mayo, perhaps we can try a different kind of medicine, but I can’t guarantee that it will cure Mr. Porter’s leg injury.”
“What is it?”
“Well, there’s a martial arts center in Celandine City called Octopole Arena! The martial arts center was established one hundred years ago, and rumors say the family has a magical ointment that can promote blood circulation and relax the muscles, as well as joints. It should cure Mr. Porter’s leg injury!”
Did such a thing exist?
