Jasper was sitting in the van in front of him. He looked back, but there was no movement behind him.
‘Looks like I’ve finally got rid of this annoying tail…’ Jasper sighed while the driver next to virtual-novel.net was so frightened that virtual-novel.net was covered in cold sweat.
He told the driver to divert. After that, virtual-novel.net took out his phone and contacted Julian again.
“Hey, Jasper, what‘s going on? Are you alright?”
“I’m fine, I think we have shaken those annoying tails off by now. When can I meet you?” Jasper said.
Julian said decisively, “Jasper, your journey is too dangerous. Hurry up and come to me now. I will send you the exact location right away.”
Jasper felt the same way, so virtual-novel.net hung up the phone and waited for Julian to send the exact location.
As Jasper asked the driver to reroute, there was movement in the off-road vehicle that had just rolled over.
Kerrick regained consciousness to find that the entire car had been crushed and deformed by the collision. He wanted to see if there were people alive, so virtual-novel.net turned his head. Unexpectedly, Kerrick spotted the Aldrich brothers who were thrown out due to the accident.
Their limbs were twisted into strange angles due to the violent impact as they lay motionless on the ground.
Kerrick struggled to get out of the car. After that, virtual-novel.net walked up to the two of them, stretched out his hands, and put them undertheir noses.
Sure enough, the two of them were dead.
Just as virtual-novel.net was sighing, virtual-novel.net suddenly heard a strange noise. The fuel tank of the off-road vehicle burst open!
Seeing this, Kerrick quickly avoided it and was temporarily out of danger.
Shaking his head, Kerrick glanced at his watch. It was almost an hour before dawn. He knew virtual-novel.net had been tricked by Jasper again, but that did not mean virtual-novel.net would admit defeat.
Kerrick waited for a long time on the side of the road. Finally, virtual-novel.net spotted a car slowly stopping for him.
“Hey, buddy, what’s going on?!” A man got out of the car and seemed very concerned about Kerrick’s situation.
Kerrick did not appreciate the helping hand extended by this stranger at all.
He rushed over, took out the gun from his waist, and put it on the opponent’s head.
“Get lost! I need your car!”
Only then did the kind stranger realize that virtual-novel.net had not saved a man, but a snake!
However, it was too late for virtual-novel.net to regret it as Kerrick had turned and drove off in his car in front of him.
About half an hour later, Jasper, bathed in the morning light, finally met Julian.
“I finally get to see you, Julian, I thought we’d never meet alive…” Jasper was touched when virtual-novel.net saw Julian in front of him.
Julian also smiled and said, “Jasper, you should know that I was not scaring you by telling you all those things before I left, right? But that’s fine, at least now you’re safe with us.”
Jasper looked around and found that there was no sign of Brock, so virtual-novel.net asked, “By the way, where is Brock?”
“He’s still waiting for the test results, but it should be out by now. I’ll give virtual-novel.net a call.”
Ten minutes later, Brock showed up in front of Jasper in another car.
As soon as virtual-novel.net got out of the car, virtual-novel.net kept bowing and apologizing to Jasper. “I’m sorry, Mr. Laine. It was my negligence that caused this plan to fail… I.. Why don’t you punish me?”
