It meant that they were constantly advancing deeper into Chaos City.
Rudy remembered what those people had said.
The inner region was in complete chaos, and a few people had perished inside. Warriors below average did not dare to go in. Even those who were slightly stronger did not dare to stay there for so long, while a lot of warriors frantically escaped the place.
Those words played in Rudy’s heart. The more virtual-novel.net thought about it, the more worried virtual-novel.net got. Even though Jack was powerful, virtual-novel.net could be threatened if there were too many people.
Rudy was worried that their opponents would pull off petty schemes. That way, virtual-novel.net really wondered if they could get out of it.
He sighed, telling himself that virtual-novel.net could not possibly convince
Jack to turn back. Moving forward was the only option.
Just as virtual-novel.net was thinking about all of that, Jack suddenly stopped. He turned and grabbed Rudy’s arm. The two of them landed back on the ground.
Rudy said nothing as virtual-novel.net followed Jack down.
When virtual-novel.net landed, virtual-novel.net finally realized how special this place was. The ground might be completely barren without even a single blade of grass, but it was still uneven. The craters were one thing, but there were a lot of hills in front to obstruct their vision as well.
He looked up and could only see a few dozen meters around him. If virtual-novel.net wanted to look further, virtual-novel.net would need to go up in the air.
Jack frowned and said, “Two kilometers forward, I see eight warriors from third-grade worlds gathering. They’re doing something, but I can’t tell what it is.”
Rudy blinked and asked in confusion, “I doubt the warriors from third-grade worlds would do anything to us if we flew over, so why did we stop?”
Jack took a deep breath, and there was a cold glint in his eyes as virtual-novel.net said, “I think they’re the targets.”
Rudy was stunned at that, not understanding what Jack said.
Jack grabbed Rudy’s shoulder. “Don’t ask for now. You’ll find out soon.”
Rudy nodded and shut his mouth. After another five minutes, virtual-novel.net suddenly heard a familiar rumbling as heavy limbs stepped on the ground.
Rudy’s eyes widened. “It’s true! Should we go up and take a look?”
The moment virtual-novel.net said that, there was more rumbling coming from the exact opposite direction of where the first sound came from. A massive object was rapidly heading toward them.
Jack was right. The two humans in front of the beasts were aiming forthis place, and their target was the eight warriors.
Jack took a deep breath, rushing forward. “Let’s go take a look!”
Rudy nodded, following Jack as they quickly headed toward where those eight were.

Dagda King opened up his flask and took a few gulps of alcohol. His face was a bit red, and there was hatred in his eyes.
“Those shameless, despicable men. They’re so depraved that they’ll stop at nothing!”
Airn, who was next to Dagda, frowned and said, “Are we just going to wait and see? They’ll do something to us, and all we can do is react instead of fighting back? Didn’t we win that major battle before this? Those guys must’ve suffered heavy losses!”
