The Red Fox Beast was incredibly hard to deal with. It was quick and its claws were incredibly sharp.
Regular weapons could do nothing against the claws at all.
Dagda clenched his teeth and his eyes reddened. Alder clutched his left arm. No matter how fast he dodged, he had still been injured by the sharp claws even though he did not get killed by the fox.
Thankfully, the wound was not too deep and did not affect his ability to fight. However, it meant that this battle would not last too long. There might be eight of them, but they were still no match for the three beasts.
Beasts had never lived together harmoniously, but when they faced the same opponents, they would work together.
Airn wiped off the sweat from her forehead. The Crimson Tortoise’s natural-born technique was nothing to be trifled with.
Every time it used the technique, it would dramatically increase the temperature. Earlier, he had just narrowly avoided a blast, but he still failed to avoid the high temperatures. If he had not dodged far enough, even his eyebrows would have been burned.
The eight warriors were all in a circle. They worked together to fight and left no holes. That was the only way they had barely managed to hold on.
Airn panted while saying, “Dagda! Figure something out! We can’t hold on much longer. We won’t be able to beat them. We have to escape!”
Dagda nodded, he was looking for a chance as well.
They were being attacked in three directions by the beasts, so the only way for them to escape was toward the south.
However, the three warriors from second-grade worlds were standing there and looking on coldly.
Dagda did not know how strong those three were, but they were definitely not slow. They must have learned some highly ranked speed techniques which was why the three beasts had not managed to catch up. The eight of them ended up being the targets instead.
The three warriors did not leave and merely watched on coldly. It was obvious that the three of them had deliberately lured those beasts there.
If the eight warriors escaped in that direction, they would definitely be stopped. Then, they would face attacks from all four sides, and the situation would be disastrous.
The person behind Dagda was the one who had voiced out against leaving before. That person had a sour look on his face, “I regret everything so much! I can’t believe these guys are so despicable. Even before he stepped into the deeper parts of the inner region, they’re still using such despicable methods against us!”
Dagda shouted out, “Is it the time to say this? Just shut up!”
Four hundred meters away from the battle, there was an intricately laid concealment formation.
The formation had three people inside who were coldly observing the battle. They were waiting for the perfect moment when both sides were heavily injured. Then, they would rush out and attack both sides with the other three.
The six of them would be able to get everything they wanted. The one standing at the front was Goran Minsk, from the second-grade world, Triflame Continent.
Behind him were his fellow disciples, Morrison and Reyes.
Goran raised an eyebrow and said, “I think they’ll be able to last for five more minutes. Do any of you want to take a bet? I’ll bet three golden keys.”
Morrison smiled and shook his head, saying, “Goran, you’re too rich. You just took out three golden keys to bet just like that. I can’t afford it. If I lose, I’d be gutted.”
Reyes scoffed at Morrison, saying with disdain, “And you get so unhappy when I call you stingy. Can you really not afford three golden keys? You have over thirty on you. You’re already feeling the pain with just a tenth of your keys.”
Morrison’s lips twitched as he looked at Reyes unhappily, “I don’t spend recklessly as you do. I just like to take care of my money properly. Three more golden keys might actually get me a higher-ranked treasure. It might be worth several times more.”
Ryees scoffed, “Dream on! Do you think the ones who designed the Whirling World are idiots? With just three keys, you want a whole different level of treasures?!”
