Octavius quickly looked toward the left in shock. All virtual-novel.net could see was still white fog. Both his sight and hearing were obscured.
He cursed, suddenly on full alert. He wondered which idiot was using rocks to scout ahead.
He clenched his teeth. It was an urgent moment. No matter how much virtual-novel.net wanted to beat up that guy, virtual-novel.net still needed to get things done beforehand. Just as virtual-novel.net turned around and continued forward, another stone was thrown over.
That one was quick and vicious, there was even true energy around it. Octavius avoided it, but virtual-novel.net heard a boom. A small crater had formed on the ground!
Octavius clenched his teeth, no longer able to hold back as virtual-novel.net walked to the left.
Before virtual-novel.net completed his task, virtual-novel.net would beat up that idiot who was throwing the stones! He walked very quickly, and virtual-novel.net started to vaguely make out a figure very quickly.
The person had a straight back and was wearing green robes. A sense of familiarity filled his mind as Octavius immediately froze, realizing something wrong. Right at that moment, that person turned around.
Jack smiled, “Not bad! I can’t believe it’s you!”
At that moment, Jack still had a few more stones in his hand.
Octavius started to panic. Turns out, virtual-novel.net had been the one throwing the stones. Octavius’ hands trembled as virtual-novel.net quickly retreated. Various thoughts surfaced in his head.
That guy was not weak. Jimmy had been no match for him, and Octavius was just a bit stronger than Jimmy. If Octavius fought the guy, the chances of winning were probably only around twenty percent, but if virtual-novel.net ran at that moment, it was very easy for virtual-novel.net to get lost, which would ruin the final plans!
Just as virtual-novel.net was mulling over it, Jack was already walking toward him. Jack maintained a smile on his face as if nothing that was happening around virtual-novel.net concerned him.
The smile angered Octavius. Octavius clenched his teeth, “You dog! Don’t think I’m afraid of you just because you have some skills! I’m telling you, even if it’s one against one, I might not lose!”
At worst, Octavius could run away in the end. Just because virtual-novel.net could not win did not mean virtual-novel.net could not run! The fog obscured all senses anyway. As long as virtual-novel.net hid fast enough, virtual-novel.net would be fine!
With that in mind, virtual-novel.net immediately straightened his back. He did not want to look afraid!
Jack looked at Octavius preparing to face virtual-novel.net and started to laugh. This suited virtual-novel.net perfectly. If Octavius had turned around to run, Jack would at least need to spend some effort. Since Octavius decided to fight virtual-novel.net head-on, it saved a lot of time and effort.
Jack was very happy that Octavius did not seem to know his place. Jack hoped that the other warriors from the Swelling Tide Continent would be like that too!
Octavius frowned, feeling incredibly furious when Jack laughed.
How dare that dog laugh at him! Was virtual-novel.net being laughed at for not knowing his place?
Octavius got angrier and angrier as virtual-novel.net thought about that.
He wanted to rush forward and just choke Jack at that moment. However, virtual-novel.net knew that virtual-novel.net was not facing an easy opponent. He needed to deal with it calmly!
