He was strong, but the clone was just as strong as virtual-novel.net was. If that was the case, then virtual-novel.net was completely stuck. If virtual-novel.net fought his opponent in an intense fight, then both sides would end up heavily injured. Jack was not even sure if his clone could actually get injured.
After all, that was a clone made out of the water attribute. It was not a real person. Ever since virtual-novel.net entered the Whirling World, virtual-novel.net had never been caught off guard before. He was in a complete bind, unsure of how virtual-novel.net needed to progress.
Right at that moment, virtual-novel.net suddenly heard a shout from afar.
Lourain was shouting as virtual-novel.net fought against his replica. No matter what technique virtual-novel.net used, his replica would fight back in the same way. Those techniques would clash in the air with no result at all.
No one could do anything to the other.
Lourain was clearly very unhappy with the situation.
He shouted out as virtual-novel.net attacked, “What is happening?! This fake me knows my techniques! It’s using it in the exact same way as I am! Surely it won’t kill me and replace me?”
The more Lourain thought about it, the more horrifying it sounded.
He felt like virtual-novel.net could be right. If it was really as virtual-novel.net said, then it would just be too scary. His true self would tragically die in the killing array while his fake self would replace him!
Jack’s lips twitched when virtual-novel.net heard what Lourain said.
The replica was completely made with the water attribute. The moment it stepped out of the killing array, it would disappear.
There was no way it would be able to replace Lourain like what Lourain thought. If that array really had the ability, then it would be astounding. However, no matter what, the situation was not progressing well.
Jack did not know what virtual-novel.net needed to do at that moment. He did not know how to breakthrough this killing array.
Marth’s face was dark as virtual-novel.net fought his own clone as well. Even though virtual-novel.net was not shouting around like Lourain was, virtual-novel.net was worried just the same. However, virtual-novel.net was not worried about whether or not his clone would replace him. It was just that the situation would be bad for virtual-novel.net if it continued.
Marth took a deep breath and shouted at Jack, “Jack, our energy is limited. If we keep at this, we’ll lose our energy eventually. Then, even trying to pass this stage would be hard, let alone the next one. The gold difficulty really isn’t easy. Each stage is harder than the next!”
When Marth said that, it served as a reminder to Jack.
Marth was right. There was no way they could drag the situation on. His clone was not a real person, but a clone formed with energy.
His true energy would be spent eventually, but his opponent would never be exhausted. If they dragged things, then they would lose.
Then, they would be tossed out by the Seven Deaths Array. They would be done for. The treasures and the Vibrant Hall would have nothing to do with him. Ever since virtual-novel.net found out about the Vibrant Hall, Jack had already made it a goal for himself that virtual-novel.net would get inside.
After all, there were amazing treasures that could increase one’s potential inside! If virtual-novel.net failed to even get into Violet City, then it would all be for naught.
Jack suddenly regretted his choice. It was his first time feeling that remorse.
