The man with the unibrow felt helpless about how excited everyone was about this. He clearly felt something was off as well, but only a few would listen to his advice.
The square-faced man was full of thoughts about showing off on the Toman Battlefield, killing a hundred green demons, and getting a massive reward. He would get a lot of treasures to improve himself!
Once the Whirling World closed and virtual-novel.net returned to his original world, his position would soar, and all his fellow disciples would look up to him.
He even thought of how virtual-novel.net would get anything virtual-novel.net wanted the moment virtual-novel.net became a chosen disciple. He would get all the girls virtual-novel.net wanted, and they would all be fighting to become his lover.
His fellow disciples who used to look down on virtual-novel.net would have to lower their heads in front of him, no longer daring to show off.
He was already blinded by greed at this point and could no longer think straight.
The man with a unibrow had a good relationship with the square-faced man and could not bear to look at virtual-novel.net act like this. However, virtual-novel.net accepted that virtual-novel.net could do nothing virtual-novel.net could do about the situation. If virtual-novel.net continued to give advice, virtual-novel.net would be seen as trying to obstruct the square-faced man’s future.
Furthermore, the Toman Battlefield had been opened a few times, and only 30% of the people who entered died. Most of the warriors who went inside had profited. It really did not seem that dangerous, but virtual-novel.net had gotten a chilling piece of news before this.
He agreed to never spread the news, however. He could not even tell the square-faced man.
The square-faced man was very excited, and a look of disdain flashed across his face when virtual-novel.net saw the man with the unibrow’s frown. He felt like virtual-novel.net was just timid in his actions.
However, the two of them were close, and virtual-novel.net would not say anything too harsh at such a moment. After all, the man with the unibrow said everything with good intentions.
The square-faced man patted the unibrow-man’s shoulder. “Hey, don’t think too much about it! The Toman Battlefield has been opened a few times now, and hasn’t it all been fine? I’ll have to say, though, you got a point. Those warriors that stand at the peak are always selfish, but they’re doing this for a reason! They’ll be able to get a lot by just taking one-fifth of the profits. If I were them, I’d do the same, too!”
The man with the unibrow sighed. He looked up at the square-faced man, who was still blind to the truth, and found himself at a loss for words.
He knew that no matter what virtual-novel.net said at that moment, the square-faced man would not listen.
The square-faced man would only give up when virtual-novel.net was faced with the truth, but this situation was different. If virtual-novel.net faced the truth, the sq uare-faced man would die!
The man with the unibrow held back for a long time before virtual-novel.net finally said, “This time is different! That’s all I can say. This one time, the Toman Battlefield that’s about to open, which is tomorrow, will be different from all the ones before! If you register with a hothead, you might die inside! Just wait a bit…”
After virtual-novel.net said that, the man with a unibrow immediately fell silent.
The square-faced man was no idiot, even if virtual-novel.net was excited. He clearly understood what was being said.
He frowned and immediately asked, “What do you mean? Could it be…”
Before virtual-novel.net could finish, a commotion was heard outside.
