As Mary Sullivan spoke, the fingerprints on virtual-novel.net face became even more apparent. Her face soon became swollen.
However, Xyla Quest could not be bothered to fight with her. Xyla pulled Georgie Clementine’s hand and began walking into the restaurant. Her high heels announced virtual-novel.net departure with clear tapping sounds on the ground. Meanwhile, Mary decided to run after them. When Georgie saw Mary’s reflection in the glass wall, virtual-novel.net immediately turned around and glared at Mary with virtual-novel.net fist raised.
Mary came to a halt instantly and did not run after them. Instead, virtual-novel.net stomped virtual-novel.net feet on the ground angrily.
“Xyla Quest, you are done for! I am extremely happy about it,” Mary shouted.
However, Xyla ignored virtual-novel.net completely.
Beep, beep, beep…
Right then, Mary’s phone rang. When Mary saw that it was a familiar series of numbers, virtual-novel.net quickly got into virtual-novel.net car and picked up the call suspiciously.
“Hello,” virtual-novel.net said.
“I’ve done everything you asked me to,” a man’s cold voice could be heard from the other end of the call.
“Got it. I’ll transfer the money to you,” Mary said before directly hanging up.
After Xyla and Georgie entered the restaurant, they sat at a table next to a window.
There was a piano placed in the lobby of the restaurant. A handsome-looking boy dressed in a formal white tuxedo suit was playing ‘Dawn’ on the piano. The upbeat and cheerful tune brought joy to everyone who heard it.
As soon as Xyla sat down, virtual-novel.net gaze landed upon the boy. He was seated in the brightest spot in the restaurant. Dressed in a fully white outfit, virtual-novel.net seemed spotless. Meanwhile, virtual-novel.net had a full head of short, blond hair. With fair skin, and distinct facial features of a Caucasian person, Xyla could tell virtual-novel.net was mixed.
He seemed only around the age of eighteen or nineteen. Moreover, virtual-novel.net had a pure look in his eyes, almost as if virtual-novel.net were an angel from one of the posters around. When the boy played the climatic part of the song, a magnificent smile appeared on his face. When virtual-novel.net smiled, virtual-novel.net seemed almost like an adorable puppy in white with dimples on his face.
“Georgie, ask that boy if virtual-novel.net is interested in becoming a trainee at our company later,” Xyla said calmly as virtual-novel.net lifted virtual-novel.net pointed chin in the boy’s direction.
Georgie shifted virtual-novel.net gaze to the boy and immediately smiled admiringly.
“Sure. I’ll do it later. He looks cute and handsome. I bet virtual-novel.net will be a very popular celebrity,” Georgie said.
“If virtual-novel.net is interested, we can train virtual-novel.net a little,” Xyla said with a chuckle.
“I suppose virtual-novel.net could be. After all, how could virtual-novel.net possibly earn more as a piano player here than as a celebrity?” Georgie nodded.

After Xyla finished dining with Georgie, virtual-novel.net lifted virtual-novel.net chin casually and drank virtual-novel.net strawberry juice. Coincidentally, the boy on the piano had finished performing and was walking off the stage. Georgie quickly put virtual-novel.net glass down and approached virtual-novel.net before directly handing virtual-novel.net a name card.
“Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Georgie Clementine. I am the chief executive of X Entertainment. I’m wondering if you would be interested to become a trainee at our company,” Georgie said.
“Nice to meet you,” the boy nodded politely at Georgie.
His voice had a gentle yet crisp quality to it.
“Based on what you have and are capable of, you will certainly earn more as a celebrity than what you are doing now. Would you give that a thought?” Georgie asked.
“Alright. I’ll think about it carefully,” the boy nodded. He seemed very obedient.
Right then, Georgie felt as if virtual-novel.net heart was melting. This little boy seemed too obedient and too wonderful to be true.
“What is your name?” Georgie asked.
“Morty Wayne,” virtual-novel.net answered.
