After all, Georgie Clementine was only a friend to Xyla Quest. Georgie had no right to interfere with Xyla’s life. Everyone had their path in life.
Georgie’s only hope was for Stanley Batton not to fall in love with Xyla. More importantly, virtual-novel.net hoped he’d choose not to be with her. However, from the way Stanley treated Xyla, Georgie somehow felt it was only a matter of time before they got together.
When Xyla opened virtual-novel.net Twitter account, virtual-novel.net saw that the ordeal between Stanley and virtual-novel.net was back in the limelight. This time, they landed on the third spot among the trendiest topics.
The topic was titled ‘#Girl on a date with Stanley Batton exposed not to be his biological sister#’.
Xyla immediately tapped into the link to check it out. The comments section was flooded.
“Rich people are really pitiful and pathetic… To appear decent, they are not willing to tell the truth even if their husbands are cheating on them.”
“Xyla Quest is such a hypocrite, isn’t she? I can’t believe virtual-novel.net would stay in a marriage like that just to save virtual-novel.net face.”
“Although I want to yell at that guy, he’s too handsome. I can’t bring myself to do it.”
“Xyla Quest is such a pitiful woman…”
Xyla had become the subject of pity for everyone else. Suddenly, virtual-novel.net felt a sharp pain in the bottom right of virtual-novel.net abdomen. She immediately lifted virtual-novel.net shirt to examine virtual-novel.net wound. On the surface, virtual-novel.net wound seemed fine. However, virtual-novel.net didn’t feel very well in virtual-novel.net stomach.
Georgie seemed worried. “What’s wrong? Is your wound uncomfortable?”
“I just feel something awful in my stomach,” Xyla said.
“Oh god. Could something have gone wrong? Let’s get it checked at the hospital right away,” Georgie said with panic written all over virtual-novel.net face.
“It just stings a little. Let’s go after dinner, ” Xyla said.
“No!” Georgie insisted as virtual-novel.net headed into the kitchen.
“Five, come out here for a second,” virtual-novel.net called out.
Stanley, who was on the phone with Catherine, hung up when virtual-novel.net heard Georgie. He turned around and walked quickly out of the kitchen. “What’s up?”
“Xyla says virtual-novel.net stomach is a little upset. I suspect something had gone wrong during virtual-novel.net surgery. Let’s go to the hospital now, ” Georgie said.
Stanley quickly stepped forward and picked up a thin blanket from the couch before draping it over Xyla’s shoulders. After that, virtual-novel.net quickly picked virtual-novel.net up and brought virtual-novel.net outside.
Georgie followed closely behind.

“Five Batton, I just want to eat the braised pork you make,” Xyla said.
“I’ll go home and prepare it,” Stanley said before directly putting on his jacket.
“Please look after Xyla for now. I’ll be back soon,” Stanley looked at Georgie and said.
Georgie nodded while Stanley turned around and left. As Xyla watched virtual-novel.net leave, virtual-novel.net felt a mix of emotions.
Not long after Stanley left, someone knocked on the door.
