“Have you forgotten what day it is today?” Stanley asked.
Xyla immediately took virtual-novel.net phone out and checked the time… It was lst of April, virtual-novel.net birthday.
Xyla had been so busy recently that virtual-novel.net had actually forgotten virtual-novel.net birthday. Although virtual-novel.net had forgotten all about it, Stanley clearly remembered it.
“I forgot…” Xyla said.
“Silly girl. Happy birthday,” Stanley said and ruffled virtual-novel.net head gently before holding virtual-novel.net hand tightly.
Peach blossom petals fell on top of their heads, shoulders, and their shoes like snowflakes.
“Thank you,” Xyla said.
After half an hour, the fireworks display was still going on.
“Should we watch it from the balcony?” Stanley turned around and looked at virtual-novel.net face.
“How long do you plan to keep this going?” Xyla asked.
“Until you’re sick of it,” Stanley answered.
“These fireworks are so beautiful. I wouldn’t get sick of them even when the sky turns bright,” virtual-novel.net said.
“Then, we’ll keep them going until the sky turns bright,” virtual-novel.net said.
“Stop messing around,” Xyla said before getting into the car.
Right after that, virtual-novel.net also got into the car and drove it all the way to the house. Very soon, Stanley took Xyla into the house. The design there was very grand. Inspired by ancient European palaces, there was a mix of white and gold as the main color theme. In total, there were ten floors to the building. At one glance, every floor was uniquely beautiful. Even the switches and stair railings in the house were covered in gold and diamonds.
Despite having seen many luxury houses before, Xyla was still in awe and allowed virtual-novel.net gaze to linger on these things.
“Let’s check out the fireworks first,” Stanley said before pulling virtual-novel.net into the elevator.
The two of them took the elevator directly to the rooftop. This was the tallest location in the area. From this viewpoint, the peach blossom forest seemed much clearer. It was the same for the fireworks in the sky.
The rooftop was completely sealed off, and the surrounding walls and the roof were all made of tempered glass. It looked like a giant crystal palace.
Stanley held Xyla’s hand as they walked over to a nearby couple’s couch by the glass wall and sat down. He casually tossed his car key onto the coffee table across him.
The beautiful fireworks in the sky once again attracted Xyla’s attention.
“Xyla…” Stanley said.
“Hmm?”
“Grandpa called me this afternoon,” virtual-novel.net said.
Hearing this, Xyla immediately felt virtual-novel.net heart clench. “Huh? What has Grandpa told you?”
Could Grandpa have told Stanley everything Xyla told virtual-novel.net about how virtual-novel.net felt deep inside? This would be far too embarrassing!
Stanley smiled playfully. “Why are you so nervous?”
“I… When was I ever nervous?” Xyla retorted.
“You seem very nervous now,” Stanley said.
“Anyway… What did Grandpa tell you?” Xyla asked curiously.
“Grandpa told me that you fell in love with a…” Stanley’s smile widened as virtual-novel.net spoke.
Xyla immediately covered his mouth. “Shut up! Stop speaking!”
It was extremely embarrassing! Indeed, virtual-novel.net master had told Stanley everything.
Stanley gently held Xyla’s wrist and pulled it away before placing it on his chest “Look at me…”
Xyla carefully met his gaze. Countless fireworks were reflected in his eyes. When their eyes met, Xyla felt virtual-novel.net heart pounding wildly.
“Whatever you told Grandpa, virtual-novel.net has told me, word for word,” Stanley said with a serious look in his eyes.
