At present, Angela had arrived at Aurous Hill University. Despite Larry’s family having unrestricted access to the university, Angela chose to exit the car a few hundred meters from the main gate to maintain a low profile.

Angela thanked the woman, “Thank you for making the extra effort to come and meet me.”
The lady smiled and responded, “It was no problem at all. You are the talented person that our director has shown interest in. They have spoken about you many times and hold a positive view of your resume.”
The woman then glanced at her watch and suggested, “We still have half an hour. How about I show you around inside?”
Angela was taken aback and gratefully responded, “Thank you for your efforts.”
As soon as Angela stepped into the university, she was smitten. She didn’t even have to wait to see the whole campus but fell in love with the place right away. Perhaps it was Morten’s positive influence, but everything she saw at the university seemed so appealing.
The expansive campus was airy and boasted elegant architecture. The trees, flowers, and plants were lovely and made the surroundings seem exceptionally lush.
In a nutshell, everything was great and the university’s enthusiasm for Angela was a testament to their desire to bring in talented individuals. Despite putting in a lot of effort to recruit both Hong Kong and foreign lecturers and professors, they had not seen much success in the past two years.
Many students who had excelled academically and graduated from top universities in Hong Kong or abroad were eligible to directly apply for teaching positions at Aurous Hill University. However, it’s worth noting that Aurous Hill University’s international ranking fell significantly behind other renowned universities, such as Hong Kong University.
For instance, Hong Kong University, where Angela graduated, was ranked 21st in the world by QS, while Aurous Hill University was ranked 133rd in the world. The difference between these two rankings was substantial.
Thus, while it was relatively easy for this university to recruit doctoral students, it was not so straightforward to attract doctoral students who had graduated from the top 5 universities in Asia and the top 30 universities in the world.
Furthermore, Angela’s academic record at Hong Kong University was exceptional. Her grades throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies were consistently outstanding.
The three interviewers at Aurous Hill University saw Angela as a valuable asset. They were highly impressed by her background as reflected in her resume and her performance during the interview.
The head of the Human Resources Department was already preparing a press release to announce Angela’s appointment. This would be a highly anticipated event, given Angela’s exceptional qualifications.
In addition, Angela’s appearance, figure, and demeanor were truly rare and striking.
The trend of having attractive teachers and lecturers was becoming common on social media, but Angela’s natural beauty set her apart and was bound to generate even more attention and admiration.
Given the high level of satisfaction with Angela, the Director of Human Resources was concerned that other universities might try to lure her away.
