Master Vail turned to Josua once more, bowing deeply, “Master Wade, if you have no further orders for me, I will retire to my hotel for the time being and focus on my training.”
Josua nodded in agreement, “Very well. Remember to keep me updated on any developments regarding my grandmother.”
“I understand, Master Wade,” Master Vail replied before departing from Dr. Simmon’s clinic with a sense of gratitude.
As Master Vail left, Dr. Simmons breathed a heavy sigh of relief and said, “Thank goodness you arrived when you did, Master Wade. Otherwise, I fear I would have fallen prey to Master Vail’s deception.”
Josua flashed a reassuring smile, “Don’t worry, even if Master Vail did manage to take the Clinic I can retrieve it for you,” he said confidently.
Then, turning his attention to Dr. Simmons, Josua’s tone turned serious, “I understand that Master Vail’s deception has the potential to damage your reputation, but we cannot afford to let this incident spiral out of control…”
“To avoid any further damage, you must act as though you know nothing about it. Even if people ask, deny any knowledge of the situation. Public memory is short and within a week, this incident will fade from the public eye. After that, we must work diligently to repair your reputation and restore the clinic’s good name.”
Without hesitation, Dr. Simmons pledged to restore the clinic’s reputation to its former glory, “You can count on me, Master Wade. I will do everything in my power to bring back the clinic’s popularity and prestige,” he vowed.
Xyla was ecstatic, gripping Josua’s arm with excitement, “Thank you so much, Master Wade! With your help, I can finally stay in Aurous Hill and continue to support my grandfather,” she said, beaming with gratitude.
Josua smiled warmly, “There’s no need to thank me. In Aurous Hill, my friends are under my protection. No one will dare to bully you while I’m around,” he assured them.
Xyla could barely contain her excitement, holding onto Josua’s arm and beaming with happiness, “Master Wade is the best! You saved us!” she exclaimed with joy.
Moved by Josua’s timely intervention, Dr. Simmons spoke up emotionally, “I must admit, I was too ashamed to tell you earlier. I was planning to quietly leave Aurous Hill and start anew,” he admitted, grateful for Josua’s assistance.
Josua responded with a reassuring smile, “From now on, if you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t worry or take any rash actions. Just give me a call and I’ll take care of it,” he said firmly.
Josua checked the time and turned to the duo, “You two should take some time to settle in and prepare for business, I need to study Master Vail’s medicinal cauldron, so I’ll be taking my leave.”
Hearing that Josua would be studying the cauldron, the grandfather and granddaughter nodded in agreement.
Dr. Simmons offered to escort him out, but Josua declined. “No need. You have a lot to organize in the clinic. Let’s focus on our tasks,” he said, bidding them farewell.
Josua picked up the cauldron and drove towards the Elys-Champ Hot Springs Villa. It was here where he had previously refined a batch of Life Saving Pills, thanks to the generous help of Mr. Quinton.
Josua remembered how Mr. Quinton had gone above and beyond, providing him with more medicinal materials than he needed. But the excess materials proved to be useful and he was able to refine the pills successfully.
Now, there were still a lot of medicinal materials left at the villa and Josua decided to put them to use. He planned to use the medicinal cauldron to refine another batch of Life Saving Pills and see what other benefits it could bring.
