Jagoan didn’t seem in a hurry to leave as she turned to Aurora with a sparkle in her eyes.
“Have you managed to unlock the mystery of endoscopic examination?” she asked excitedly.
Aurora sheepishly scratched her head, admitted, “I’m afraid not. It feels like diving to the bottom of a deep pond, but every time I get close, I can’t quite reach the bottom. It’s frustrating, to be honest.”
Jagoan’s expression turned serious as she replied, “I think I might have found the key to unlocking the mystery. It’s like diving, as you said. At first, I couldn’t even get close to the bottom. The water was pushing me back up to the surface every time.”
Aurora nodded eagerly, “Yes, exactly! It’s like being caught in a never-ending nightmare. How did you manage to push through?”
Jagoan answered with determination, “At first, I tried to force my way down, but it never worked. Then, I calmed myself and imagined that my spiritual consciousness had left my body and was soaring upwards to the highest point.”
“The highest point?” Aurora repeated, surprised.
“Yes!” Jagoan exclaimed, her eyes bright. “I visualized myself climbing up a steep cliff above a lake and standing tall on the edge. That’s when I finally broke through.”
Jagoan spoke with a trembling voice, “Stand on the edge of the cliff and let your divine sense open its arms wide, then jump without any distractions!”
She continued, her voice growing more and more animated. “As I fell faster and faster, the wind roaring in my ears, I ignored the noise and focused solely on completing the leap. It felt like a needle falling from the sky and piercing into the water, no resistance whatsoever. And then, suddenly, everything became clear!”
Aurora was left dumbfounded. “Jagoan… You can really leave your body like that?”
Even Jagoan, who had mastered the “Apocalyptic Book”, was astonished. This method of martial arts training sounded extreme.
Jagoan quickly clarified, “No, it’s not really leaving the body. It’s more about calming your mind and pretending that your consciousness has left your body. You have to try to let go of your physical form as much as possible.”
Aurora looked confused. “And you can do this by imagining it?”
“Yes!” Jagoan replied confidently. “It’s like peering inside yourself. At first, I didn’t understand it either. How could I see my meridians and dantian from the outside? But then, this morning, I finally understood. If I imagine that my consciousness has dived into my body like a deep-sea diver, everything suddenly becomes clearer.”
As Master Vail listened to the explanation, Aurora’s eyes widened in astonishment.
But after a few moments, she balled her fists with excitement.
“I have to try this too! I finally understand the concept of inner peeping and have mastered the operation of true energy. This speed is unlike anything Master Vail has ever seen before. Congratulations!” she exclaimed.
Jagoan bowed her head respectfully. “It’s all thanks to Master Vail’s teachings.”
Master Vail waved his hand and spoke gravely, “Miss Ito is truly gifted! Not only has she mastered internal observation in such a short period of time, but her three meridians are almost completely open, even though she didn’t know how to operate them before. The chi and meridians are like a highway without vehicles, but now that she can manipulate her true chi, I believe she will be able to use these three meridians in a matter of days. She will be able to stand up and become a three-star martial artist!”
He spoke with admiration. “With such amazing progress, Ms. Ito is sure to become one of the top martial arts masters in the future!”
