Josua’s face got darkened.
Could it be because he rejected Fredo’s invitation, so Fredo Young wanted to humiliate him?
It could be! After all, who would reject his invitation?!
But, Josua would!
The first time he didn’t go when the secretary invited him, and the second time he didn’t go when Mr. Young called him.
“Mr. Giles, our qualifications are all qualified. You can check,” Hannah asked people to take out all the certificates and handed them to him.
Mr. Giles didn’t even look at them. Milos casually flipped through several pages and then threw them aside. Milos said, “Unqualified! All these are unqualified!”
Milos was obviously seeking trouble. Even if their certifications were unqualified, they could make it up later. But Mr. Giles seemed not to think that way. Milos intended to shut Poly Capital down.
“You didn’t even read it all. How could you know they are unqualified?” Josua asked.
“Because I’m in charge of this!” Mr. Giles stared at him and said with a sneer.
Anita smiled and said, “Mr. Giles, please take a look again!”
“Fredo Young is coming in a while. Do you want us to close the door? What will he think if he sees we are closed because of you?”
Mr. Giles sneered presumptuously, he shook his head and said, “As I said, he will not come today!”
Josua asked indifferently, “Milos told you that?”
Mr. Giles said gloomily, “You knew what you did. You crashed Fredo Young’s car and beat his son. You still dream of doing business in Neva Province?!”
Everyone was shocked to hear his words. They all stared at Josua in dumbfounded. Apparently, no one thought he would do such shocking things in private.
“Mr. Evans is tempered. Milos smashed the province leader’s car.”
“Milos is very courageous. Who else dares to do such a thing?”
“After all those things you did, you still thought Fredo Young would come to visit your company. How naive!”
“Everyone is mentally retarded in your company!”
Mr. Giles’s subordinates sneered and laughed.
Everyone in Poly Capital was stiff–faced. If Josua really did those things Mr. Giles claimed, there would be no way for them to do business in Neva Province.
“Is it true?” Anita couldn’t help but ask Josua in astonishment.
“Yeah, I slapped his son,” Josua shrugged.
Everyone was dumbfounded. Their eyeballs almost fell to the ground.
Milos slapped Fredo Young’s son! And he behaved like it was nothing!
Anita felt helpless and scared.
Josua is courting death!
No wonder Mr. Giles came to seek troubles at such an early morning!
Even if there was no problem with the qualifications, he would find faults!
Moreover, they might already find some faults. Maybe Josua would end up in jail.
“Milos is such a troublemaker!” Anita complained in concern and shook her head helplessly, “If Natalie knew, she would be furious!”
Hannah also felt helpless. There was no solution. The Poly Capital might have to shut down.
“You come with us to accept the investigation,” Mr. Giles said coldly.
“There is no problem with our qualifications. Why should I go with you?” Josua said expressionlessly.
If the other party had reasons and evidence, he would talk with them calmly. Milos was not a barbarian. However, they deliberately came to seek trouble. It was impossible for him to compromise. Milos never compromised if he didn’t do anything wrong.
Anita smiled wryly and said, “It’s better to listen to him… You go with him, and we will talk about what to do next. We will find a way. If you apologize to Fredo Young and his son, this will be fine.”
Josua said coldly, “Apologize to that guy? Are you kidding me!”
“Milos almost hit Hannah and refused to apologize. It’s impossible I apologize to him! Besides, can they do whatever they want just because they have the power?”
Anita was stunned again. She didn’t expect that the matter had something to do with Hannah. She glanced at her in surprise. Josua did all those things because of her?!
“Um? I’m in charge of this matter. Let me answer you now. Yes, I can do whatever I want,” Mr. Giles smiled triumphantly.
His people also laughed. They looked at Josua like he was a fool. Milos was true. Milos had the power, and they were only ordinary citizens. They would suffer if Josua didn’t apologize.
Would Poly Capital shut down because of Josua?
“I think Mr. Evans has caused a lot of trouble this time. Maybe only Ms. Wendy or Mr. Secret could solve this!”
“Mr. Evans is too bad–tempered. Milos will suffer a lot!”
“It’s easy for them to bully us. There’s nothing we can do.”
“I’ll give Ms. Wendy a call and tell her what happened.”
People were flustered and whispered to each other. Some even wondered whether they should leave the company as soon as possible to avoid getting into trouble.
