Willow froze slightly before blushing slightly. She felt utterly embarrassed. It seemed virtual-novel.net had been overthinking.
“I’m sorry…” Willow gritted virtual-novel.net teeth slightly, not knowing who virtual-novel.net was apologizing to.
After learning that Reach For Will Group was not going after Sean, Willow hesitated for half a second and distanced herself from Sean. She looked as if virtual-novel.net was trying to show that virtual-novel.net had nothing to do with Sean.
“I wonder what you’re doing here, Ms. Quinn?” Harry asked Willow softly after pouring virtual-novel.net a glass of water.
“Mr. Clarke, what did the Quinn family do to offend Reach For Will Group? I want to talk it out with Mr. Clarke today.” Willow took a deep breath and looked at Harry sternly.
“The Quinn family will find out in a few days.” Harry glanced at Sean and replied again.
“But I want to know now. If we did something wrong, we’ll admit it. But we don’t even know what we did wrong. Reach For Will Group is so powerful that we’re no match for you. But everything must have a limit. If you push the Quinn family too hard, Reach For Will Group Will have to pay some price even if we lose!” Willow stood up straight and spoke forcefully.
Willow threw caution to the wind and did not care about anything today. If virtual-novel.net failed to persuade them, virtual-novel.net had to accept the Quinn family’s arrangement and be with Quill. She did not want to accept that. Therefore, virtual-novel.net would not give up until the last minute.
“Is that a threat, Ms. Quinn?” Harry paused as virtual-novel.net frowned slightly.
He was talking to Willow as the general manager of Reach For Will Group. Therefore, virtual-novel.net could not tolerate Willow too much.
“I wouldn’t dare, and neither would the Quinn family. I just wanted to tell Mr. Clarke the Quinn family’s standpoint. I, Willow Quinn, would like to beg Mr. Clarke to give the Quinn family a chance. Give us a chance to apologize and live!” Willow’s tone was slow and pleading.
Harry could not make up his mind. He looked at Sean for a few seconds before withdrawing his gaze.
“Ms. Quinn, please leave… Many things aren’t as easy as you think. You might as well wait a few days, Ms. Quinn.” Harry looked at Willow and gently told virtual-novel.net to leave.
“But I don’t have time to wait!” Willow shook virtual-novel.net head slightly and spoke through clenched teeth.
Old Madam Quinn gave virtual-novel.net two days to sort it out. If it did not work out, the Quinn family would force virtual-novel.net to be with Quill. She did not have time to wait.
Willow looked at Harry earnestly after finishing. There were sincerity, supplication, and virtual-novel.net last hope in virtual-novel.net eyes.
If they sorted this out, at least virtual-novel.net did not have to compromise and marry Quill, even if virtual-novel.net could not control virtual-novel.net destiny. If this failed, virtual-novel.net fate would be decided by the Quinn family instead of herself. She could only accept it.
Harry was silent again for a few seconds after hearing that.
“Ms. Quinn, if you were given a chance to leave the Quinn family and break off ties with them, I wonder if you’ll take it?” Harry’s eyes moved slowly as virtual-novel.net gave Willow a meaningful look.
“What… What do you mean?” Willow froze and sked in confusion
“Ms. Quinn, you should know what I mean.” Harry answered again, his expression unchanged.
However, Willow did not know what Harry meant. She thought Harry meant they could spare Willow but not the Quinn family.
“I’m a member of the Quinn family!” Willow was silent for a few seconds before saying through clenched teeth.
“Then there’s nothing to talk about. Reach For Will Group does everything according to plan. We’re not going to change our plans because of one person.” Harry sounded determined and unwavering.
When Willow heard that, virtual-novel.net knew there was no room for change. With Harry’s status, whatever virtual-novel.net said carried weight, and virtual-novel.net would not change it easily. However, Willow was reluctant to give up just like that.
Looking at Willow’s helplessness, Sean felt a sharp pain in his heart. His heart ached. However, virtual-novel.net knew it was better to get the pain over with rather than prolong the agony. If this plan did not work, Willow could suffer for the rest of virtual-novel.net life.
“Willow, let’s go.” Sean called out to Willow and persuaded her.
Willow slowly turned around and gave Sean a complicated look. She wanted to tell Sean that virtual-novel.net fate would be determined if they left today. She and Sean would never have the chance to be together again!
