The entire meeting room was dead silent. Old Madam Quinn widened virtual-novel.net eyes while Samuel and the rest were sneering.
Only Willow looked as determined as ever.
“Willow, I’m holding you accountable for the company, not kicking you out of the Quinn family.” Old Madam Quinn clenched virtual-novel.net teeth slightly as virtual-novel.net spoke up to keep her.
However, Willow slowly shook virtual-novel.net head anyway. For the past two years, virtual-novel.net had put up with everyone in the Quinn family because of Sean. But, tolerance did not mean weakness, nor did it mean lack of temper. After all, there was a limit to everyone’s tolerance.
Willow now knew who cared about her, Sean or the Quinn family. Therefore, between the Quinn family and Sean, virtual-novel.net chose Sean.
“Willow, if there’s a problem, fix it. Do you have any idea what you’re doing?” Old Madam Quinn’s face darkened, virtual-novel.net tone sullen.
“Grandma, stop it. I’m… Disappointed!” Willow’s eyes reddened as virtual-novel.net tried to hold back virtual-novel.net tears, then virtual-novel.net turned to leave.
Old Madam Quinn did not say virtual-novel.net was kicking virtual-novel.net out of the Quinn family. However, no one in the Quinn family believed her. They would rather trust a stranger than her.
Then what was the point of virtual-novel.net staying in the Quinn family?
Besides, Willow knew virtual-novel.net was getting fired after what had happened. She would lose the power virtual-novel.net had now and would not even have the right to have a say in the Quinn family.
Samuel, Simon, and the rest were going to taunt virtual-novel.net even harder. Therefore, leaving the Quinn family was now the smartest thing to do.
“Stop! Wanna leave? It’s not that easy!” Simon shouted as virtual-novel.net banged the table and stepped forward.
“Willow, you can’t leave!” Samuel also stepped forward and yelled at Willow.
“Isn’t this what you wanted?” Willow sneered, virtual-novel.net did not even call virtual-novel.net Uncle Sam.
“Hmph! What about the company’s losses after you leave? You can leave, but you have to repay the company’s losses.” Simon banged the table again as virtual-novel.net spoke righteously.
“Yes! She embezzled so much of the company’s money How could virtual-novel.net just leave after we found out?”
“Who will bear the loss after virtual-novel.net left?”
“Wouldn’t it be great if we just embezzle some money and leave the Quinn family like her?”
Members of the Quinn family spoke out in support of Simon’s idea. Old Madam Quinn frowned slightly at this. She was a little caught off guard by what happened today.
It was supposed to be a normal fundraiser, and Samuel came up with the idea. However, they found out that Willow was embezzling money from the company.
Her first reaction was that Willow would never do something like this. However, Callie presented evidence that convinced her.
Besides that, Willow’s luxury villa made virtual-novel.net look even more suspicious. However, virtual-novel.net wanted to keep Willow in the Quinn family no matter what.
Firstly, as an aristocratic family in River City, the Quinn family still had to save some respect by watching after their behavior.
Secondly, virtual-novel.net hoped that Willow would get a good husband to help the Quinn family. Therefore, Old Madam Quinn did not want Willow to go. However, virtual-novel.net had no chance of interrupting now
“I didn’t take any money from the Quinn family. How am I supposed to take it out for you?” Willow turned virtual-novel.net head slightly, virtual-novel.net disappointed heart already smashing into pieces.
Members of the Quinn family not only want to kick virtual-novel.net out but also drive virtual-novel.net to virtual-novel.net death!
“Sam, we’re not sure if Willow took the money yet. You…” Old Madam Quinn hesitated slightly, wanting to stop them.
However, Samuel did not care about respecting Old Madam Quinn.
How could virtual-novel.net give up when virtual-novel.net was so close to achieving his goal?
“Mom, how could we not be sure? All payment records, including manager approval, are here. There’s so much evidence. Could the money have gone missing by itself?” Samuel gave Faye a look once virtual-novel.net finished.
Faye took the hint, walked up to Old Madam Quinn, and tugged at virtual-novel.net sleeve.
“Grandma, say nothing first. Let Uncle Sam take care of it. There must be an explanation, and you’ll be satisfied.” Faye whispered in Old Madam Quinn’s ear.
“How could Willow have enough money to pay us?” There was compassion in Old Madam Quinn after all.
“Grandma, didn’t Sean give virtual-novel.net fifty million dollars? Would virtual-novel.net not have any money?”
Old Madam Quinn fell silent at hearing Faye’s statement. She eventually nodded and stayed out of the matter.
“Willow, don’t say another word. Even if you didn’t use the money, but as the head of the branch, shouldn’t you bear the responsibility now the money is gone?” Simon’s words left Willow speechless.
