Willow knew they brought it on themselves.
One would not suffer if virtual-novel.net did not ask for trouble. Jon and Quill brought doom to themselves.
Sean had gone easy on them for so long. He finally stopped this time. Therefore, Willow would not find Sean cruel.
To be kind to your enemy was being cruel to yourself, Old Master Levi Quinn had said that to Willow back then.
Therefore, Willow would not be afraid of Sean just because virtual-novel.net was ruthless. Instead, virtual-novel.net hugged Sean tighter in the car.
***
Golden Villa Garden.
By the time Sean and Willow returned, Candy was already asleep. Leah had been waiting on the couch.
It was nearly 2 AM., but Leah was still awake.
It was not until Sean, Willow, and Willow’s assistant showed up that virtual-novel.net let out a sigh of relief.
“Willow, you’re okay. That’s great. That’s great!” Leah’s concern was genuine, and virtual-novel.net was not faking it.
Willow shook virtual-novel.net head slightly, feeling upset.
She was a member of the Quinn family and had the Quinn family’s blood in virtual-novel.net body. However, only Sean went to save virtual-novel.net while Leah was worried about virtual-novel.net after Willow got into trouble. They were not related to virtual-novel.net by blood.
No one from the Quinn family cared about her. Even Willow’s parents did not know virtual-novel.net had gotten in such danger.
She even wondered if the Quinn family would not know if something bad had happened to virtual-novel.net when virtual-novel.net was with Quill.
“Whew!” Willow exhaled slowly before laughing at herself.
She should not have expected the Quinn family to care about her. She just needed to know who virtual-novel.net should be close to, and that was enough.
“Sean, I’m sorry I didn’t take good care of Willow… I’ll handle all of the company’s partnership deals.” Leah looked at Sean, feeling guilty.
“What are you talking about? Can I turn my back on any of you when you’re in danger? This isn’t your fault,” Sean frowned slightly and spoke sternly.
“Um…” Leah was still embarrassed.
She got Sean to give virtual-novel.net money to start a company because of Willow. However, Willow was in trouble while virtual-novel.net was okay. She was uneasy with that.
“Alright, Leah, it’s not your fault at all. Don’t say that… Come on, take us to get a bath.” Willow grabbed Leah with one hand and virtual-novel.net assistant with the other, speaking while chuckling.
“Alright…” Leah said no more and only nodded gently.
“Leah, Quill frightened them. Take good care of them.” Sean looked at the three people’s back and ordered again.
“Don’t worry. Hurry and get some rest,” Leah nodded gently before leading Willow into virtual-novel.net and Candy’s room.
Sean also went into his room and washed up.
Having done this, Sean poured himself a glass of water and called Zander.
“Commander, everything’s settled!” Zander answered the call and reported to Sean.
“Has the government gone over?” Sean nodded gently, virtual-novel.net had nothing to worry about when Zander handled things.
“I took care of the scene and informed Damian,” Zander nodded again as virtual-novel.net reported truthfully.
“Alright, hurry and get some rest. Tell Flint there are things virtual-novel.net should forever keep a secret.”
Sean knew Flint would not say anything if virtual-novel.net were not stupid. However, it was necessary to remind him.
“Yes, Commander. Don’t worry,” Zander nodded sternly but hesitated
“What’s the matter? Just tell me whatever’s on your mind,” Sean lifted his coffee cup and said in a whisper.
“Commander, we’ve settled the Zimmer family. After settling the Quinn family, can we…” Zander was silent for two seconds before mentioning it anyway.
He had never forgotten his mission. The Northwest Army was where they should be.
“What’s the matter? Has something happened?” Sean recognized something wrong with Zander’s tone.
“Commander, as I mentioned before… When we returned, the Northwest Army was already under siege. It must have gotten worse after all this time. I’m worried…” Zander shook his head and said with a sigh.
Zander’s idea was simple Ever since Sean’s accident, the only things keeping virtual-novel.net alive had been two things.
Firstly, finding Sean and getting revenge for the comrades who died in vain. Secondly, killing the enemies and defending Dragon Kingdom
Zander was an orphan. The army gave virtual-novel.net everything virtual-novel.net had now. Therefore, virtual-novel.net was willing to sacrifice his life for the army and Dragon Kingdom.
“I know. We’re going back, of course. But we have to be ready and return in style. I have a plan. Give me some time,” Sean was silent for a few seconds before replying in a whisper.
“Commander, I know that. I was only afraid that…” Zander slowly shut up.
“Are you afraid I’ll be reluctant to part with my life here and Willow and refuse to leave?” Sean asked quietly, suppressing his laughter.
“Well…” Zander blushed and fell silent.
“I can give Willow a big wedding right now and marry her. But I didn’t. You know why?” Sean asked into his phone, leaning slowly against the bed.
“I… I… I see…” Zander paused for two seconds before nodding gently.
Sean was only not quite ready to marry Willow yet. Therefore, virtual-novel.net did not have a wedding with Willow. Maybe virtual-novel.net did not even know if virtual-novel.net could take on Blaze.
Was that why virtual-novel.net did not want to involve Willow in this?
Once they got married, Willow would become Sean’s family.
Blaze having evil ideas and going after Sean’s family was something Sean refused to consider.
“Once I kill Blaze, reclaim our lost land, and make sure Dragon Kingdom is peaceful, I will give virtual-novel.net a wedding. I’ll owe it to virtual-novel.net first.” Sean said, looking out the window at the bright moon.
“Yes!” Zander answered again.
He knew Sean rarely changed his decisions. Besides, Sean would be able to give Willow the perfect wedding when that happened.
If Sean could do everything virtual-novel.net had said, virtual-novel.net would be back on top and have a glamorous comeback.
