“Moses?” Leonard said again when Moses was silent.
“I don’t have a problem with Henry. But Billion Trees Real Estate has some beef with me,” Moses shook his head slightly and said to Leonard.
“Jimmy Lidell? I never liked him. He invited me to his home many times, but I rejected him,” Leonard nodded.
Moses knew Leonard was telling the truth.
Leonard was okay with Henry when they were at Henry’s house earlier. However, Leonard never looked Jimmy in the eye the whole time.
“So you know…” Moses nodded gently.
“I don’t know much about the business circle. But I know some of the dirt on Billion Trees Real Estate.” Leonard shook his head.
He had a relative who bought a unit from Billion Trees Real Estate, so he knew some of the inside stories.
“I want to break them up.” Moses pondered for two seconds before slowly turning to look at Leonard.
“I can help. But I also have a small request. I hope you’ll say yes, Moses…” Leonard immediately understood what Moses meant, but he also had a condition.
“Dr. Wester, please go ahead.” Moses nodded gently.
“I want my good-for-nothing granddaughter… To be your disciple and learn medicine.” Leonard sat up straight and looked at Moses seriously.
There was a deep longing in his eyes.
“So, are you making me a deal, Dr. Wester?” Moses asked indifferently, his eyes calm.
“Ahem, not really… Most importantly…” Leonard smiled awkwardly and tried to explain.
However, Moses pushed the door open and got out of the car.
He left Leonard and the driver at the front dumbfounded in the car. The driver never thought anyone would dare treat Leonard this way.
Leonard was not a millionaire, nor was he a big shot in the government. However, big shots in the government and the business world were deferential to Leonard. No matter how rich or powerful those people were, they were still human.
Humans would age, get sick, and die. Leonard’s miraculous medical skills could keep them safe, and no amount of money or power could give them that.
Therefore, the entire Joules Town’s high society and even the head of Joules Town were polite to Leonard, not to mention Henry.
Moses only flicked his sleeve and left.
The driver had worked for Leonard for five years, and he had never seen anyone treat Leonard this way.
“This Moses is quite unyielding…” The driver sounded annoyed.
“Anyone capable is like that,” Leonard replied, pushed the door open, and got out of the car.
However, Moses was already gone and had no intention of continuing the conversation with Leonard.
“Moses, let’s stay in touch!” Leonard shouted, looking at Moses’s back from a distance.
However, Moses left in a taxi without looking back.
“Ah! I offended him!” Leonard got back in the car and slapped his thigh.
“Dr. Wester, it’s not you. It’s Moses’s temper.” The driver sat in the front, still defending Leonard.
“What do you know? What Moses is saying is that he could have accepted, but I made him a deal that made him resent it. It means Moses doesn’t like people using something to threaten him.”
“I offended him after all…” The more Leonard talked, the more he regretted it.
The driver did not understand Leonard’s idea, but he dared not say more and stayed silent.
“Come on. Let’s meet my friends. Billion Trees Real Estate is a hungry wolf, and it’s time for someone to deal with them,” Leonard was silent for a moment before saying to the driver.
“Are you going to help him when he has this attitude?” The driver was more puzzled when he heard that.
“You don’t understand. With someone like Moses, you don’t talk about terms, you just get things done. Do our job right, and he won’t mistreat us.” Leonard was an old fox after all, he saw through things.
“Alright…” The driver answered and drove away.

9 PM.
Joules Town’s Pullman Hotel.
Moses was invited to the business area on the top floor. It was not his first time meeting the inviter.
It was the middle-aged man Zane Curley who Moses met at the auction after attending the banquet. They talked for a long time. Moses also had some conditions of his own for Zane.
Zane did not rush to say yes but said he would think about it. He had invited Moses over today, so he must have worked it out. Therefore, Moses came immediately.
Zane had been waiting in his casual clothes in the room.
“Mr. Curley.” Moses greeted him after entering.
