Many people found Astor’s move crazy, ridiculous, and naive.
When developers handled unit owners’ issues, they did it separately. After all, one person was easier to handle than a group. It was what Billion Trees Real Estate used to do, so the other developers did so too.
However, Astor did the opposite. Instead of handling them separately, he gathered everyone together.
Could he stand it?
Many billionaires and various company owners were gently swirling their wine, waiting for Astor to make at fool of himself.
Johnson and the rest of the Joules Town government were also slightly uneasy.
The scene was now chaotic. Thousands of people clamored together, drowning out Astor’s voice.
Astor remained calm and stood in place. There was so much noise around him, but it seemed to not affect him.

Suddenly, a mineral water bottle was thrown at Astor.
Smack!
However, Astor caught it accurately the next moment. Astor then gently put the water bottle nearby.
“Get him!” The next second, several bottles of mineral water fled toward Astor again.
However, Astor remained unfazed and grabbed the water bottles as if performing magic. Then he put them down gently.
“What the heck…”
The crowd was a little dumbfounded to see this. They had vented their frustrations by throwing things in the past. Anyone would have gotten hit and fled.
But, there was something different about the young man named Astor Lennon today!
The way he caught things so accurately and steadily made them wonder if he was a basketball player.
“Let me ask you a question. Are you going to keep arguing? Or shall I solve it for you?” Astor asked indifferently, looking at the crowd.
“How can you solve it?”
“Do you think we’ll believe you when it hasn’t been solved after all this time?”
The crowd was still unsettled. If they were that easy, Jimmy would not be so anxious.
“I have enough money to solve all your problems. Billion Trees Real Estate’s era is behind us. I’m taking over now. All of these problems can be solved.”
Astor looked up slowly, his tone haughty. His attitude left many people dumbfounded.
Generally speaking, developers were humble when approaching unit owners. After all, they were the problem, and they could only hand their head low and apologize.
Forget about being humble. Astor’s attitude at this point was downright arrogant!
But, the crowd could not find anything to refute him.
The root of all their problems was indeed money. They were also involved with Billion Trees Real Estate because of money.
Those workers’ wages were money. These unit owners also had these problems because they paid for the units with money. Therefore, Astor was right that all these problems could indeed be solved with money.
The question was whether Astor could come up with that much money.
“Why don’t we hear what he has to say first?”
“Let’s hear what he says first. As long as it pleases us.”
After some discussion among themselves, the crowd gradually quieted down. They might be making a scene, but it was not their goal. The ultimate goal was to see their problems resolved.
Astor gave them a different vibe.
They found Astor confident, whether the look in his eyes, expression, or even that ethereal aura. It was as if he could indeed solve things, convincing people involuntarily.
At the end, the crowd calmed down slightly.
“Within three days, the construction of Billion Trees Real Estate’s remaining properties would be in full swing. We’ll meet unit completion standards by one month at the latest. I’ll give you your units in two months.”
Astor slowly turned his head to look at the unit owners.
Everyone was stunned to hear this. However, the crowd soon sneered.
“Cut the crap!”
“We’ve heard promises like yours too many times. And then what? You’ll say you have the final right of interpretation?!”
“You’ll keep delaying. When can you deliver our units?”
The unit owners shouted again after coming to themselves. They did not believe a word of Astor’s assurances and promises.
Chyntia could not help but fret at the sight. However, Astor remained unfazed.
Edgar did not find these unit owners too unreasonable. It was because most people bought houses by spending their life savings.
If a young person wanted to buy a house, they might have to empty their family’s bank accounts. No one bought a house just to suffer.
Jimmy built up the unit owners’ anger. Supposedly, none of this had anything to do with Astor. However, Astor had taken on the project, so he could not avoid it. Edgar would not run away from it either.
“Don’t believe him, everybody!”
“Maybe they’ll close down and run away in three days!”
“Yes, we can’t trust him. What can a kid do?”
The crowd said, unwilling to believe Astor.
Astor slowly glanced across everyone’s faces. His eyes seemed magical. Every time he looked at a unit owner, the unit owner would lower their head and fall silent. His eyes were not threatening, but he still had this effect.
After Astor took a look around, the place fell silent again.
“I don’t like explaining. But I understand how difficult it is. That’s why I’m here to explain. Anything else aside, what will you do if I can do what I had just promised?” Astor asked again after looking at the crowd.
