Jane asked on the other end of the line.
“That’s right,” Josef immediately replied.
Jane’s voice came through the phone again, and it sounded dumbfounded.
“Let me hear my father’s voice,” Jane demanded icily.
Josef was not surprised to hear that because he had already guessed Jane would make a similar request.
Though the woman was crazy, she was smart. Of all the women Josef had ever met, Jane was at the top of the list when it came to intelligence alone!
“Okay, wait and see.”
Josef waved his hand, and Sandra immediately brought over a middle-aged man with handcuffs and removed the black cloth from his head.
The middle-aged man was Jimmy, who was arrested and jailed earlier!
Josef used Henry’s connections to get Jimmy out of prison, and it was time for him to make an appearance.
“Here. Talk to your daughter.” Josef put the phone in front of Jimmy and put him on speaker.
Jimmy had already learned the whole story from Sandra.
Steven also knew his daughter Jane was the only one who could save him, so he eagerly shouted, “Jane! Do you hear me, Jane? Hurry and save me. I don’t want to go back to prison. There’s nothing good in prison. They’re all f*cking perverts… I’m never going back to that damn place. I’d rather die…”
Josef took him off the speaker and took the phone back before Jimmy could finish.
“Are you satisfied now? Tell me. Where am I supposed to take him?”
“The textile factory in the northern outskirts of the city. Bring my father here alone, or I’ll kill Caitlyn. l have another person to bargain with you even if I kill one anyway!” Jane said coldly, her voice full of cruelty.
She was confident as she had two hostages.
If Josef also had two people, he could also threaten Jane in the same way. However, even one did not stump him.
“You’d better behave yourself. If you hurt Caitlyn and May, I’ll pull your father’s fingers off one by one! You only wanted your father. You didn’t say you want him intact!”
Josef’s icy tone made Jane on the other end of the line silent for a long time.
“Bring him over first, or our deal won’t go through… Remember, you have to be alone!”
After hanging up, Josef said to Sandra, “Go with Ray and the rest.”
“No. I must protect you, Commander!” Sandra said solemnly.
“Does a nine-star commander like me require your protection? Sandra, are you disobeying my orders?”
Hearing this, Sandra had no choice but to nod in agreement.

Josef led Jimmy, whose head was covered with a black hood as they stood in front of the entrance of the abandoned textile factory.
Just standing here, Josef felt like he was being watched by multiple sets of eyes. Steven knew Jane must have hired killers or mercenaries.
Perhaps several guns were pointed at his head right now!
