The following morning, Jagoan felt much better as he had a strong physique. Meanwhile, Axton hurried all the way to the Deragon residence with various pills and herbs.
He had been anxious to learn about Jagoan’s injuries and came over with the medication himself. “My Lord, are you all right?” he asked worriedly after seeing Jagoan.
“I’m fine.” Jagoan shook his head. “Did you bring the medicinal herbs I need?”
“Yes. I also brought some pills along.” Axton showed Jagoan the pills and medicinal herbs he had brought with him.
Jagoan gathered everything and knocked on the door of the room next to his.
Hailey opened the door. After tending to her injuries for one night, she looked much better. Nevertheless, her aura was still unstable.
The sight of Jagoan looking like he didn’t even get hurt caught Hailey off guard.
Only one night has passed. How did Jagoan heal so quickly when there is a lack of spiritual energy here?
“Are you all right?” Jagoan asked.
Hailey gave him a reassuring nod. “I’m fine.”
“I have some medicinal herbs and pills that can help you recuperate,” Jagoan said as he handed the pills and herbs Axton brought over to her.
Hailey glanced at the stuff he gave her. She knew that they were worth a lot in the mundane world.
Confused, she asked, “Why would you help me?”
Jagoan and she weren’t related to each other, and they didn’t know each other before this. Thus, she had no idea why he would treat her this well.
“Don’t worry. I don’t have any ulterior motives. You can leave after you recover completely,” Jagoan explained, worried that she would misunderstand his intention.
“I…” Hailey parted her lips, but she didn’t know what to reply.
In the end, she could only say, “Thank you. I’ll repay your favor one day.”
Jagoan flashed a smile and said nothing as he turned to leave. After all, he didn’t help Hailey so she could repay his favor.

Autumn dragged her injured body back to Violet Cloud Palace.
Santiago flew into a rage when he learned that his daughter had gone missing. Roanna even burst into tears as she was worried about Hailey.
“Damn it! Who the hell had the guts to harm my daughter?” Santiago demanded as his anger flared.
“Mr. Hargreaves, I don’t think they are from the mundane world. Judging from their strength, they should be from the secret realm,” Autumn reported.
“Someone from the secret realm, huh? Who could it be? Why would they target us?” Santiago frowned as he racked his brains.
He knew Hailey wasn’t their target. She was just a pawn, for their real target was Violet Cloud Palace!
“Autumn, where is Claus? I sent someone to inform him to go after Hailey. Didn’t you see him?” Roanna asked.
Roanna had sent her men to Waxing Crescent Castle so Claus could search for Hailey. If Claus had found Hailey, perhaps this wouldn’t have happened.
“I didn’t see Mr. Lassen,” Autumn replied, shaking her head.
“What is Claus doing? I told him to find Hailey, but he was nowhere to be found,” Roanna grumbled as regret overwhelmed her.
I should’ve sent someone from Violet Cloud Palace to search for Hailey. If I had done that, perhaps Hailey might still be safe.
“Autumn, go get some rest. Don’t tell anyone about Hailey’s disappearance.” Santiago gave a dismissive wave.
He was afraid that outsiders with ulterior motives would try to harm Hailey if news of her disappearance were to get out.
“Santiago, what should we do? Hurry, send men to look for Hailey!” Roanna urged.
Santiago nodded in agreement. He immediately sent dozens of men to Jadeborough to find Hailey.
However, these men had to leave the secret realm in batches so they wouldn’t alert the public and government in the mundane world.
