“Hmm?”
“What rich chaos Chi energy! What is that thing?”
Julian would have never thought Alex threw out the roots of the Chaos Tree, or virtual-novel.net would’ve been mad with jealousy. However, even if virtual-novel.net hadn’t thought of that, virtual-novel.net could feel the unnaturally rich chaos Chi energy upon the roots. He wanted it so badly virtual-novel.net felt like his head was going to explode.
‘Such strong chaos Chi energy… This is definitely another rare treasure. This kid has quite the treasure on him. Is virtual-novel.net here to give me these valuables?’
Julian’s eyes turned red with greed, and virtual-novel.net went giddy with excitement. ‘Mine… Mine… All is mine..!’
‘I’ll be rich once I beat that kid!’
Just as these thoughts appeared in Julian’s mind, the tree roots tangled around the sword, pulling it forward. The sword moved at a quicker speed towards Alex. Julian was stunned for a moment, then virtual-novel.net laughed out heartily.
He was laughing at Alex’s idiocy. His sword was so ferocious it could even slash through the Path of God.
‘Whatever virtual-novel.net had that’s filled with Chaos Chi energy won’t be able to take my sword. He’s just asking for death.’
It was as though he’d pointed out a clear path for the sword.
“Dumba*s. I just hope my sword won’t destroy that rare treasure of yours. And my precious vase as well. You better protect it well.”
In his view, the sword turned into a flashing red streak of light and struck Alex… Then, in a second, it pierced the area between Alex’s brows.
The corners of Julian’s mouth moved upwards into a sneer. Despite that, before virtual-novel.net could complete the smile, virtual-novel.net was quickly overtaken by shock.
The sword pierced through Alex’s head, but didn’t cut it off. It didn’t even go through his body. At the moment it attacked, it just vanished.
“What… Happened?”
“Could the sword have entered that world within the vase?”
Soon, his expression changed again. He felt his blood pressure elevating, with both eyes popping out of their sockets as they became bloodshot red.
Pfft…
A mouthful of fresh blood spewed from Julian’s mouth.
He screamed fiercely, “Impossible, impossible… The Dao killing sword, my sword… What did you do to my sword? What did you do?”
Julian had gone mad. He simply couldn’t believe it.
Just now, the connection by blood between the sword and his soul felt like it was cut off by force. The sword was his natal weapon, and he’d sacrificed his blood and soul to it. Under normal circumstances, the sword couldn’t be taken away from virtual-novel.net as long as virtual-novel.net was alive.
However, the truth lay before virtual-novel.net now. He could clearly feel that the soul and blood imprint he’d placed on the sword had been wiped away by a mysterious force. If the sword was within the world of the vase, this wouldn’t have happened. Something was up with Alex, the kid in front of him.
“Ahhh!”
“Give me back my sword, kid! Give me back the d*mn Dao killing sword, and I’ll consider leaving your dead body in one piece. If you don’t, I’ll shred your corpse into a million pieces and send your soul to Juyo Cave. You’ll forever bear the burning torture of the flames of Juyo Fire.”
Julian roared violently with his eyes full of resentment and fury. Yet what answered virtual-novel.net was Alex’s Great Icebound Spell.
“Ten-Point Forbidden Spell, Frost Seal!”
Pshhh!
The tunnel the sword had dug was about a meter wide.
At first, Julian sped ahead and swore to catch Alex within the shortest time possible. However, when virtual-novel.net was about thirty meters away, a deep blue ice screen with extreme freezing powers formed rapidly in the middle of the tunnel.
Bang!
Julian crashed head first on the ice.
