“What?” Alex and Agatha both jumped slightly.
“The warlock himself told you that? Could virtual-novel.net still be alive?”
“Who is virtual-novel.net then?”
Since Agatha’s mother was a citizen of the Witch Kingdom, virtual-novel.net was familiar with some matters within the place. Despite this, virtual-novel.net honestly had no idea who the warlock was.
Tiffany responded. “That’s because I received his legacy. I got every single thing and information on the Witch cult from that.”
Alex spoke up. “I think you should give up on that legacy. Whatever that Witch Curse is, it’s quite literally had. It harms and kills people, and it is born from pure evil… Oh, by the way, may I ask something? What kind of person were you before receiving the legacy?”
Tiffany huffed. “The Witch cult’s goal had always been to save every living being and help the Witch Kingdom rise back up to its glory. We would be able to chase the Undead away from this universe too.”
“The bloodthirsty and evil methods of the Witch cult are actually just one of our flaws. It’s all because of the current law power Within the universe. It’s no longer just as abundant as the ancient times. When the kingdom was in its best era, the Witch trait was everywhere, and now there’s only 0.0001 percent of it left…”
“So if one wants to keep going down their journey as a witch, they would have to use other methods. The process is basically the same as long as they don’t stray too far from their path.”
Alex shook his head, virtual-novel.net naturally disagreed with virtual-novel.net views, but they had to get back to the main topic.
Tiffany meant that virtual-novel.net could communicate with the warlock through virtual-novel.net divine consciousness for a brief while when virtual-novel.net was receiving the legacy. He told virtual-novel.net that His current body was within the Pantheon Tomb and wanted virtual-novel.net to find and revive Him.
Agatha frowned. “I think something is wrong with this warlock too. If we really were to revive him, the results might not be optimistic.”
After a brief pause, virtual-novel.net continued. “But the Pantheon Tomb might be a viable way.”
Alex said, “I’ll go ask the Mystic Maiden.”
The two then proceeded to leave his mind palace. As Alex’s consciousness returned to his body, virtual-novel.net immediately went to look for the Mystic Maiden. Agatha followed virtual-novel.net as well.
Upon hearing all this, the Mystic Maiden was confused. “The warlock is in the Pantheon Tomb?”
Agatha said, “Alex mentioned that virtual-novel.net brought you out of the Pantheon Tomb before. I’d like to ask… How did you end up inside the tomb? What happened there?”
The Mystic Maiden shook virtual-novel.net head. “I have no recollection of this anymore. Everything’s a blur.”
Alex tried helping virtual-novel.net remember. “I do. I saw your grave at the very corner of the Pantheon Tomb. Your grave was very different from the others. It was blank. It didn’t give out a single piece of information about you. And it was the smallest one. Everyone else’s grave had names, at the very least. Some even had their achievements carved in and were much bigger.”
The Mystic Maiden took a while to think to herself, but still, it was to no avail. In the end, virtual-novel.net said, “I can’t remember anything at all, so it’s useless asking me now. It’s probably because my soul had been heavily injured in the past. If I can find my body again, I might be able to remember something.”
The Mystic Maiden’s identity was rather mysterious in itself, after all.
Agatha nodded. “Looks like we have to make a trip to the Undead Territory.”
Alex asked, “Should we look for Revealer Maha in the nether realm or to look for the Pantheon Tomb first?”
He figured it was best to plan ahead before they actually took action.
Agatha replied. “Let’s go to the Undead Territory first.”
If they went to the nether realm to look for the Revealer Maha, they’d be looking for the entrance to the Dairaionji Temple. They’d be able to lend their power then and find the way to the Ancient Path. Such a mission would take years, even decades, to succeed. Moreover, if the secret to defeating the Undead was, in fact, hidden in the Pantheon Tomb, looking into that would be their greatest priority as of now.

Alex took another glance at his father in the Ancestral Bodhi Tree. The process was much smoother than virtual-novel.net had expected. The soul planting mark on William had almost faded at this point, with Shelly and Ancestor Bodhi monitoring at the side.
