That was how the situation came to be.
However, an applause began to thunder from out of the blue. Clap, clap, clap… A mocking voice followed.
“Zayn Larson, what an impressive performance! Making new money beg and down before you. Tsk, tsk, it must feel amazing being able to push your authority onto others!”
The voice was shrill, the tone brimmed with scorn. It immediately captured the attention of many people. Zayn had barely been able to access his documents when someone new decided to interrupt virtual-novel.net once again.
Frowning deeply, virtual-novel.net was further nettled when virtual-novel.net looked up and saw who it was.
Dressed dapperly from head to toe in luxury brands, the man who had approached Zayn was being escorted by a group of people. He looked at Zayn with derision, like virtual-novel.net was looking at a clown.
“Nathan Sullivan,” Zayn uttered lightly. There was no doubt about it, the person standing before virtual-novel.net was none other than Nathan, who had also come to attend Alexandra’s engagement ceremony.
“I see you still remember me.” Nathan feigned surprise. It was exaggerated and was obviously intended to mock him.
Gordon creased his brows weirdly when virtual-novel.net took in the sight of Nathan. He knew who Nathan was. He was an elite member of uppercrust society, and the young heir of Tenfy Co. as well. Despite that, virtual-novel.net was still nowhere near Zayn’s level.
Zayn was the chairman of Violet Vision Media Corp, the company with a market value that broke 850 million dollars. Nathan was just a rich young man, and the market value of Tenfy was only around 300 million dollars.
Though, Nathan was still being hostile and disdainful towards Zayn, which was very odd indeed. Did virtual-novel.net have a death wish?
Zayn could see what Nathan was thinking straightaway. He did not have a single sliver of affability for virtual-novel.net as virtual-novel.net said curtly, “Scram”.
The singular word put a glower on Nathan’s face.
They were in a public space with personages surrounding them. Zayn was not considering his ego at all when virtual-novel.net asked virtual-novel.net to leave. Nonetheless, Nathan did not know that Zayn was Violet Vision’s chairman, so of course virtual-novel.net blew into a fit of rage!
Before virtual-novel.net said anything, a young man beside virtual-novel.net stepped forward and berated Zayn, pointing a finger at him, “Take a look at yourself! How dare you ask Nathan to leave! Do you want to get killed?”
It was painfully obvious that the young man was Nathan’s lackey. He sprang up at the first opportunity that presented itself, one that would help carry out Nathan’s plan.
A handful people, most of them were pretentious sons who hailed from wealthy families, around Nathan started to glare at Zayn disdainfully. From their perspective, Zayn’s cheap and gravely wrinkled suit could not have been more than 300 dollars, and that made virtual-novel.net a loser in their eyes.
It was someone who Nathan was too afraid to provoke, how significant could Zayn’s background be? He was probably worth nothing at all. They could care less. It would not result in much even if they went out of their way to offend him.
Zayn’s face fell as well. A temperamental man would have blown up if they were challenged and provoked repeatedly. In fact, virtual-novel.net had the temper of a bull when virtual-novel.net was younger, before when virtual-novel.net had been chased out of the Larsons and started laying low.
Anyone at that point was standing up now and insulting him. If virtual-novel.net stayed docile, was virtual-novel.net really worthy of his title as Violet Vision’s chairman?
How was be worthy of being Zidane’s opponent?
