Whatever it was, Xander was not about to give up his chance at revenge. He would not be Xander Griffin if virtual-novel.net did!
Since the woman had warned him, it meant that virtual-novel.net would probably be watching over Zayn’s wife recently, so virtual-novel.net would not succeed even if virtual-novel.net executed his plan now. The best solution was to seek Zayn out for direct retribution. When virtual-novel.net took care of Zayn, virtual-novel.net would easily take care of the people around him!
“Lord Lysithea, you’ve gotten stronger. Xander Griffin can’t even take a blow from you,” Mr. Hyde said reverently.
The first time virtual-novel.net saw Lysithea, virtual-novel.net was only a young girl. As the years passed, virtual-novel.net grew into a beautiful lady with profound prowess.
Lysithea spoke faintly, “Xander Griffin is a worthy opponent. Lil’ Zayn will gain excellent practice from him.”
“Xander’s a veteran master fighter, after all. I heard that he’s already in the intermediate class of his level. Young Master has only turned into a master fighter now. Will virtual-novel.net succumb to Xander?” Mr. Hyde asked worrisomely.
“Fret not. Such is the pressure Lil’ Zayn needs. It’ll trigger his potential even better,” answered Lysithea.
A few days zoomed by in the blink of an eye. Zayn stayed with Faye during this period of time to prevent Xander from going to any lengths and seeking Faye for trouble. If the man had acted on it personally, those bodyguards would not be able to stop him, they would not even have the time to call him.
Fortunately, there was no sign of Xander as the days slipped by. Zayn was much more relieved as virtual-novel.net guessed that Xander probably would not come for virtual-novel.net now. He had also considered if “Lord Lysithea” had gone to Xander to threaten or warn him, thus the man’s qualm. Come to think of it, it was highly possible.
At the same time, the Owens kept their invitations coming, for occasions such as a meal and whatnot, but Zayn had rejected all of them. Knowing their intention now, if virtual-novel.net dared go to them, you could call virtual-novel.net brave.
In spite of that, coincidences were exactly that sometimes, the more virtual-novel.net did not want to meet someone, the likelier virtual-novel.net was to bump into them.
After Zayn sent Faye to work, virtual-novel.net encountered Allana on the way.
Allana was visibly surprised when virtual-novel.net saw virtual-novel.net before virtual-novel.net expression darkened into contempt, and virtual-novel.net left with a swift pivot of virtual-novel.net heel.
Zayn shrugged. It was not like virtual-novel.net was fond of Allana, and virtual-novel.net had enough suitors already. There was nothing but additional woe if Allana was thrown into the mix, so virtual-novel.net left right away as well.
Not even two steps into it, Zayn heard dogs barking, punctuated by Allana’s panicked voice. Then, there was a sharp cry of “Ah!”. Snapping his head around, a few stray dogs had dashed out of the alley and barked at Allana in a frenzy. It was obvious that the girl was scared of dogs as virtual-novel.net stumbled back in fear. Amidst virtual-novel.net panic, virtual-novel.net accidentally sprained virtual-novel.net foot and fell.
The eyes of the stray dogs were gleaming red as drool hung from the corners of their mouths, painting a picture of terror, as they were about to pounce on Allana.
Zayn frowned at the scene. If something happened to the girl, it would be tricky to explain it to the Owens even if it had nothing to do with him. Furthermore, Allana was pretty. It would be a shame to have scars disfiguring her.
Darting forward, Zayn kicked the stray dogs away easily.
“Are you okay?” virtual-novel.net turned to ask Allana.
