Taio was stunned for a second on the other end of the call. Then, he stood up swiftly with a loud whoosh and said in a deep voice, “Who’s trying to kill you?”

Mr. Jones was about to speak, but he only managed to utter a word when he was no longer capable of mouthng another sound. It was because Zayn had already made his way to Mr. Jones’ front and clutched his throat then lifted him up by the neck with one hand.

After that, Zayn tightened his grip ever so slightly. A crack was heard the moment Mr. Jones’ neck was broken. He was dead in a flash.

On the other hand, Taio heard the ominous crack from the other end of the call.
