It was the Aeon Karpos!
Lysithea had mentioned the Aeon Karpos when he visited Lil Hyde the other day. He learned that the fruit of Aeon Karpos had an extremely miraculous effect such that a person would benefit hugely just by consuming it.
It would increase the person’s essence of life, and it was enough to turn an ordinary person into a master fighter!
The fruit would only be produced once every 112 years, so the extent of how precious it was was beyond one’s imagination.
Next, he headed to see Lil Hyde immediately.
For safety reasons, he did not reveal that Faye was sick and claimed that he was only inquiring about it out of curiosity.
Lil Hyde found a lot of information that proved that the Aeon Karpos would certainly cure Faye. Zayn felt relieved. As long as there was a solution, everything was fine!
Lil Hyde noticed that Zayn seemed relieved, so he immediately furrowed his brows and asked, “Sir, you can’t be thinking about getting the Aeon Karpos, are you?”
As soon as those words were uttered, Lysithea, who was meditating by the side, perked up her ears ever so slightly. She diverted her attention to the conversation.
Zayn let out a cough and said, “Why would I be thinking about getting the Aeon Karpos out of nowhere?”
Lil Hyde nodded strenuously and cautioned, “The Aeon Karpos is an extremely rare treasure in this world, and there are way too many moguls who are trying to get their hands on it.”
“If it’s not absolutely necessary, there’s no need for you to fight for it. If you’re not careful, you might put your life at risk, and it’s really not worth it.”
Zayn nodded. He did not give himself away on the surface, but the cogs in his mind had already begun to spin.
He made up his mind that he would spare no effort in getting the Aeon Karpos. It was imperative that he obtained it!
Only by getting the Aeon Karpos would he be able to cure Faye.
Meanwhile, Lysithea opened her eyes and cast a glance at Zayn nonchalantly. She said in a meaningful tone, “My advice for you is not to think about getting the Aeon Karpos.”
“It’s not within your scope of authority to get involved. The Saint has already dispatched a strict order of acquiring the Aeon Karpos at all costs. Other than that, there are still numerous forces that will partake in this search as well. Based on your current capability, you’re not qualified enough to fight for it.”
Zayn fell silent.
He knew that Lysithea was not scaring him for the sake of it. Immediately, he figured out that such a precious treasure like this was best remaining under the radar with fewer people aware of it.
Many people knew about it right now though. Moreover, they wanted to get their hands on it. He was just a fourth-tier master fighter, so it would be immensely difficult for him to snatch it from the jaws of tigers like the rest!
In fact, his life would even be in danger!
However, he had no other choice. This was the only way he could save Faye’s life and he would never give up on it regardless.
Time passed quickly. A week passed in the blink of an eye.
Throughout the week, Zayn looked up information related to the Aeon Karpos in detail. He learned about the habitat of the Aeon Karpos, the possible location for its growth, and also the precautions to take note of when harvesting it…
Of course, Zayn did not miss his martial arts training during this period either.
Since he was planning to take on the arduous mission of harvesting the Aeon Karpos, he was not planning on doing it without adequate preparation!

Zayn was planning on rejecting Liam, but then he heard Liam bring up the Aeon Karpos during their conversation, resulting in him changing his mind…
