Zayn felt an immense pressure coming toward him now, and it was unprecedentedly strong!

Ezra had been pursuing him from the back all along, and he could not throw him off regardless of how hard he tried.

However, he knew that Ezra was tremendously powerful. In fact, he was the most powerful man that he had ever encountered so far in his life.

He also accepted that he did not have a high probability of running, so he had to buy himself time to the best of his abilities and see if he could escape to the place he designed. Then, he would save himself from the desperate situation!

“Zayn, you can’t run from me.”

Ezra’s mocking voice was heard in Zayn’s ears while he chased after Zayn at full speed. His expression appeared to be very relaxed and leisurely, and there was even a smirk on his face, which was a sign that he did not exert his full effort at all.

On the contrary, Zayn appeared to be much more laborious. He was less powerful than Ezra from the start. In addition to that, he was too exhausted from the ordeal on Mount Leo. Moreover, he was injured.

Under such circumstances, Ezra would catch up to him sooner or later.

“Zayn, for the sake that you’re the son of the previous Saintress, I will spare your miserable life if you promise to hand over the Aeon Karpos,” Ezra offered once again. He sounded like a God who decided the life and death of a man.

Zayn did not utter a word but continued to push on with his journey.

Ezra’s patience seemed to be wearing thin. He furrowed his brows and spoke in a much colder tone, “Zayn, my patience is running out. Don’t test me! The Aeon Karpos is not something that you’re entitled to. You’re an innocent man until you choose to take something that doesn’t belong to you. This belongs to the Saint.”

“I’ll count to three. If you still won’t hand it over, don’t blame me for not showing you the slightest courtesy anymore!”

Zayn could tell that Ezra was infuriated. He was no longer speaking as courteously as he was before, but his tone was filled with rage and murderous intent.

As he was being pursued by a perfect-class master fighter, it was impossible for Zayn not to feel anxious at all. If he was not careful, irreversible death would be awaiting him.

He had never feared death before.

However, he was worried that his passing would cause endless grief to his loved ones. Therefore, he could not allow anything to happen to him!

With the surge of motivation, his speed was elevated to a brand new level. He scurried outwith a whoosh, actually traveling at a speed faster than before!

Ezra’ s gaze turned icy cold. Completely infuriated, he let out a heavy grunt. “If death is what you wish for, I won’t mind fulfilling your wish!”

Upon saying that, Ezra’s speed increased exponentially. It only took him a little more than ten seconds for him to catch up to Zayn. He delivered a slap aimed at Zayn.

Instantly, Zayn felt a shiver down his spine and goosebumps exploded all over his body. Ezra’s slap was coming toward him so powerfully that he would certainly collapse after taking a hit!

Fortunately, Zayn’s fighting instinct was so strong that he had already reacted to the situation almost the same time as Ezra’s slap was closing in on him. He turned his body to the side without the slightest hesitation and dodged the slap just in time.

Ezra let out a surprised sound. He almost did not expect Zayn to actually have the ability to dodge his slap.

“You’re quite something. No wonder you’re so bold. What a waste that you don’t know the huge disparity between a fourth-tier master fighter and a perfect-class master fighter.” Ezra let out a sneer and behaved as if he had the absolute upper hand over Zayn.

Zayn did not run anymore because he knew that running was useless already. It was impossible for him to flee when a super-powerful fighter like Ezra caught up to him.

Hence, the only thing he could do now was to spare no effort in resisting Ezra.

Anyhow, there was only a short journey until he arrived at the place he designed.

He believed that he would be able to save himself from the desperate situation!

However, he had no choice but to acknowledge that Ezra was truly powerful. A perfect-class master fighter was at the most powerful state just a level below an unbeatable fighter.

Even if Zayn was at the peak of being a fourth-tier master fighter, there was still a huge disparity when he was compared to Ezra.

Ezra let out a grunt and said, “Are you still trying to deceive me? It was obviously you who stole the Aeon Karpos! Zayn, for the sake of your talent, I’m going to ask you one last time: are you going to hand over the Aeon Karpos or not!?”

Ezra uttered the last sentence loudly. In fact, Zayn could even see sound waves emanating from his mouth. Like Thor, his voice was so sonorous that Zayn’s ears were humming.

Ezra’s presence was extremely overbearing in an instant to the extent that Zayn even felt the urge to yield to him for a moment.
