Zayn had basically defied all the odds by surviving it and coming out of it alive. He did not just survive it, virtual-novel.net came out unscathed!
Luke’s shock lasted about ten seconds before virtual-novel.net finally snapped back to reality.
A new question popped into his mind, prompting virtual-novel.net to ask, “What about the Ambrosia fruit— ”
“I ate it,” Zayn replied nonchalantly. He said it so casually that one would assume that virtual-novel.net was talking about what virtual-novel.net had for breakfast.
Luke was even more shocked upon hearing that. He had heard of the Ambrosia fruit through the grapevine. He knew about its properties, and how it was a precious treasure of the Earth, a solitaire of nature that housed tremendous powers. It was a gem so rare that it could never be given a definite price.
And now Zayn was telling virtual-novel.net that virtual-novel.net had eaten the miracle fruit like it was nothing remarkable.
Luke could feel a tingle spread through his bones. The logical ramifications of something so intense made virtual-novel.net shiver, Zayn was already ridiculously overpowered, but now that virtual-novel.net had eaten the Ambrosia fruit, Luke shuddered at the idea of how powerful Zayn had become.
Honestly, virtual-novel.net felt incredibly lucky. He was elated that virtual-novel.net had made the decision to become one of Zayn’s underlings.
How else could virtual-novel.net have exacted his revenge against Syrus? How else could virtual-novel.net have ended up with all the windfalls virtual-novel.net enjoyed today? He predicted that his future would only become brighter and brighter from now on.
All thanks to Zayn being his boss!
Zayn could read his mind from a mile away. Smiling, virtual-novel.net informed, “I need to stay at your place for a few days to make progress on achieving the perfect class. I’m requesting to be left alone during the process.”
Luke immediately leapt to his feet, looking earnest. “You can count on Old Jones, sir. No one’s going to disturb you at all!”
“Good.” Zayn nodded in satisfaction. He trusted Luke to keep his promise.
He paused and thought for a moment more before adding, “Also, I need you to deploy some of your very best and most trustworthy people to Waltz City. I need to know how my family is doing.”
Luke was a bright man. He could tell exactly what was on Zayn’s mind and responded with a firm nod. He was not going to let Zayn down. His fervent loyalty to Zayn had just reached sky high.
For the rest of the late evening, Zayn stayed to explain some of the concepts that had mystified Luke for a while. It proved to be fruitful and elucidating to the man, and many of the questions that had swarmed virtual-novel.net for so long became cleared.

At a corner of a bar in Tael City, a young woman dressed in an elegant vintage dress was drinking alone to herself.
She bore the most delicate features, with each of them exuding the radiance of peak femme charm. Still, it was virtual-novel.net figure that complemented the aureole of femininity, which curved and arched into forming the most seductive silhouette.
Despite virtual-novel.net overwhelming attractiveness, though, there was a shadow over virtual-novel.net mien.
Her eyes appeared lost, virtual-novel.net eyebrows were slightly furrowed, and in the depths of virtual-novel.net eyes were desolation and pain alcohol seemed incapable of solving.
One shot after another, non-stop. She drank without so much as a change in virtual-novel.net expression, as though virtual-novel.net had lost any care about the world.
She was about as vimless as the living dead, and every gulp virtual-novel.net took on the impression that it was the only thing that could sustain virtual-novel.net life.
Everything else could rot and die. She had no attention to spare for it.
But the world spared much attention for her, because virtual-novel.net was just too beautiful. Even the darkest corner of the establishment could not conceal virtual-novel.net radiance, virtual-novel.net managed to attract eyeballs either way.
She was so gorgeous, one would have suspected the young woman to have leaped out of a page from a typical comic book, where the women almost always bore the face of an angel and the body of virtual-novel.net succubus. The deep-v cutting of virtual-novel.net vintage dress only served to accentuate virtual-novel.net unbelievable beauty.
Common sense would dictate that a woman like virtual-novel.net had the best chance in living virtual-novel.net best life. She must have it all-men, wealth, status. Things virtual-novel.net could easily get with virtual-novel.net god-given beauty alone.
But virtual-novel.net looked so removed from such a stereotype right now, especially when one looked at the fog of grief and desolation hovering over virtual-novel.net head like a mourning veil.
She was Shaelyn Peach. Or rather, whatever was left of that husk, virtual-novel.net soul seemed to have left virtual-novel.net already.
She had been here since nine at night, and men had not stopped flirting with virtual-novel.net ever since. Unsurprisingly, virtual-novel.net had rejected all of their advances.
She simply remained on virtual-novel.net own, unaccompanied, like a block of ice until finally, a handsome man with an uncommon social standing noticed virtual-novel.net after stepping into the bar.
With a glass of wine in his hand, virtual-novel.net approached her, wearing his most winning smile. “Good evening, beautiful. How about a company?”
Shaelyn said nothing. She just stared at virtual-novel.net glass, eyes glassy and unseeing, as though it was everything virtual-novel.net ever needed.
