When Life Takes a Turn

When Life Takes a Turn – Chapter 1433

Zayn took a deep breath and boldly walked into the forest.

The further he ventured, the more he discovered the area was not as simple as it seemed.

From the moment he entered the place, he could feel that someone was watching him, their eyes locked on him constantly.

Moreover, his stalker was a highly skilled master fighter.

Zayn pretended not to notice and continued to walk ahead.

He concealed his presence and had dressed in plain clothes that made him appear to be a backpacker hoping to tour the location.

He was overwhelmed with emotion when he came, and countless thoughts raced through his mind.

However, he found he had calmed down as soon as he stepped on the ground there, and his mind regained its clarity.

It was because there was nothing else for him to get upset about anymore. At that point, there was only one path ahead of him, and his sole focus was to continue walking down it.

Even if he failed to embark on that path, he would never regret taking it, because at the very least, it would allow him to see his mother.

The forest was dense with massively tall trees. One could tell at a glance that it was more than a century old. Moreover, it was inhabited by many wild beasts and poisonous snakes.

As Zayn walked in, he felt as if he was traveling through time and had arrived in the ancient past.

It was because he had never seen a place so natural and devoid of any traces of humankind.

Moreover, the forest was so big that it would take up a large area on the map, but he would never have located it had Lil Hyde not told him its coordinates. Even with a satellite, it would be very hard to find.

Zayn was certain that Sicut In Caelo must have utilized high-tech means to evade detection by satellite.

A pas serby would not have been able to find it even if they were at the location, and it would be difficult for hostile forces to locate it without the specific coordinates.

It seemed that the master fighter was not acquainted with Zayn and had not managed to see his true capabilities. His eyes had only locked onto Zayn for a moment before he averted his gaze.

It was very apparent that he considered Zayn to be an ordinary man.

It was because people would go there on expeditions occasionally. Zayn could sense that there were a few groups of ordinary people in the forest. They were carrying equipment with them and were obviously backpackers on a hike.

Zayn met some of them while he walked.

“Hey, pal, are you a traveler looking to explore Pineforest too?”

Zayn was strolling idly when seven or eight people walked up to him. They were all dressed in professional outfits and had many tools hanging off of them.

They were clearly there on an expedition. Their gear was made from a unique material that was so tough that it could not be cut easily with a knife.

Judging by their appearance, they seemed to be from rather wealthy families.

Zayn nodded in acknowledgment and continued to walk ahead.

He did not wish to be entangled with those people while he was there on an important mission.

Despite that, the backpackers did not share his disinterest.

They soon walked over and were astonished when they noticed that Zayn was wearing casual everyday clothing.

“Hey, why are you dressed like that on an expedition to Pineforest? Don’t you know there are a lot of wild animals, snakes, insects, and things here?”
