“You must be out of your mind provoking the wolf packs at this point!”
The explorers were convinced Zayn was trying to make things worse by getting them eaten by wolves even faster.
Zayn furrowed his brows ever so slightly. He did not unleash too much of his power and only assumed the stance of an acquired fighter, hoping that it was enough to scare the group of animals away. However, his efforts only provoked them even more.
They were at the peripheral area of Sicut In Caelo’s headquarters. If he were to take the stance of a master fighter, he would certainly be discovered by the master fighters in Sicut In Caelo, so it was not worth the risk.
Given that, he could only drive away the animals by brute force.
He turned and said to the explorers, “All of you, stand here and don’t move.”
He then strode forward, looking like he was about to engage the beasts in a battle to the death.
His actions stunned the group of intrepid backpackers.
The beautiful woman could not keep herself from saying, “Hey, what are you doing?”
The rest of them were confused as well.
Zayn turned around and smiled nonchalantly. “Kill a few wolves and the rest will run away in fear.”
The madman must have lost his mind!
If he was not mad, he was surely an utter fool.
Zayn had more important matters to deal with, so he could not be bothered to waste time there. After stepping forward, he ran straight toward the wolf pack and began attacking them.
With his capabilities as a perfect-class master fighter, dealing with those animals was no different from crushing a few ants to death.
That being said, he could not allow himself to reveal his full capabilities just yet.
Firstly, it was not necessary, and secondly, he did not want to risk alerting his enemies before he reached their headquarters.
He exercised control over himself to maintain his capability at the level of an acquired fighter. Even so, it was more than enough to deal with those animals.
He launched a rapid attack spontaneously which immediately provoked the wolves. The pack instantly went berserk and began charging toward him. It was a magnificent yet brutal sight.
Upon witnessing the scene, the explorers were scared out of their minds. The beautiful woman even covered her eyes, unwilling to watch Zayn being torn to shreds.
Everyone was sure Zayn was doomed, certain he would be ripped to pieces by the wolves.
However, they were completely dumbfounded by what happened next.
Zayn let out a cold grunt and had a contemptuous expression on his face. There was not a trace of fear or anxiety in him. As he was confronted by the ferocious wolves charging at him, he walked leisurely and swung his fists repeatedly.
His strength was mighty and the angles of his attack were precise. Any wolf that charged into the air would be blasted back by his punch without even touching him. It would tumble to the ground and die on the spot.
In less than half a minute, Zayn had already beaten five wolves to death and startled the remaining wolves. In the end, Zayn grabbed hold of the alpha wolf with the largest body, clutched it by its head with one hand.
Then, he slammed it heavily against the forest floor before delivering a punch to its head that pushed it into the ground. The other wolves were so terrified that they howled in fear, turned tail and ran.
Zayn dusted his hands as if he had just done something trivial. He turned around and saw the group of explorers staring in bewilderment…
