“Sure,” the Saint said, “Zayn, your action will decide if you and your mother live.”
His remark was made with a profound tone.
Zayn nodded strenuously while his gaze turned sharp as well.
His eyes met Ezra’s, and he could clearly see the ghastly, murderous intent in Ezra’s eyes that seemed to almost engulf him whole.
Despite how powerful he was, he inevitably sensed the piercing cold from Ezra for a brief moment.
However, he did not feel the slightest fear in his heart because he had mentally prepared for this before he came.
It was the best outcome out of all the numerous possibilities he could think of. Next, his capabilities would decide if he could live.
Lysithea’s lips moved ever so slightly as she looked at Zayn deeply. “Godspeed.”
Zayn cracked a bright smile and said, “Don’t worry. I’ll win.”
Upon saying that, he stepped out in long strides. In just two to three steps, he vanished.
Ezra let out a grunt coldly and did not take Zayn seriously at all. He disappeared from where he stood in a brief moment, and when he appeared again, he was on top of another mountain.
It was not a huge mountain by any means, and a large chunk of land was carved out of it to form an arena over tens of thousands of square feet.
There were holes and pits on the ground, and it was very apparent that this location had specifically seen many a duel.
Ezra was the first to show up. He was still dressed in his usual attire that fluttered in the wind. There was no telling how deep his martial arts skill ran.
He was obviously an old man close to 60 years old, but he looked no different from a young man in terms of appearance.
Zayn arrived right behind him. He stood opposite Ezra, the distance between them being less than 50 meters, a distance that someone of their capacity could cross in an instant.
It did not take long before the people at the execution site came chasing after them in succession. However, they dared not follow Zayn and Ezra to the mountains.
