In the meantime, the numerous top level personnel from Rheasia at the spectators’ seating area had extremely unpleasant expressions.
It was not that they had never considered Bjorne would lose, but they had not thought he would lose so quickly!
They could tell how the country was implicated by Bjorne’s loss just by seeing the numerous Rheasians at the scene. They appeared dejected, overwhelmed, and their spirits had been drained substantially.
“Sigh!” Antony heaved a sigh heavily with a solemn, dispirited look on his face. “Could it be that there’s no hope for our country to rise again?”
The numerous top-level personnel fell silent upon hearing his remark.
Coincidentally, Tennyson walked over and said with a smile, “Mr. Hoffman, it seems that your country’s representative has already been disqualified from the title match. My deepest condolences for you and your nation.”
Antony pulled a long face but did not respond.
Meanwhile, a voice was heard saying, “He will not lose!”
The crowd of people looked over and saw the speaker was Sienna. Her eyes had reddened and her teeth were tightly clenched.
However, her gaze was filled with hope and determination as she said to everyone once again, “Bjorne will not lose! He promised me that he will win and he has never lied to me before!”
She spoke strenuously, but her statement did not get across to them. They assumed she was only saying all that to convince herself.
Although Bjorne could have survived before, he had been injured severely and rendered incapable of fighting the seven perfect-class master fighters. If he could not pull out of their encirclement, he would be beaten to death.
Bryson heaved a sigh as well. He had high hopes for Bjorne initially and did not expect that he would actually lose.
It seemed that Rheasia was destined to fall.
Was the recovery of the country just a silly dream?
At another corner of the arena, Lindsay’s face was ghastly pale and she shouted in terror, “This is terrible! My teacher has lost! He lost…”
Allana bit her lower lip tightly and her face also ghastly pale. Her fists were so tightly clenched that her nails dug into her skin. She was still staring intensely at Bjorne in the ring, yet she felt heartbroken and hopeless like never before.
If Bjorne were to lose, her belief would be crushed.
In truth, she was not the only person in agony. Numerous Rheasian spectators felt the same way.
However, they then heard a calm yet powerful statement. “Bjorne will not lose. This is his strategy. He has never lied, and since he claimed that he will be the champion for Rheasia, he will certainly do it.”
The crowd looked to the source of the voice and found the speaker was Bjorne’s wife, Faye, the woman with breathtaking beauty.
Lindsay immediately walked over and stared at Faye closely while she asked in a frail, fearful voice, “Madam, are…are you sure that he didn’t lie to us? Is…is my teacher going to win?”
The rest of the crowd looked over as well.
With a charming smile, Faye nodded and said, “Trust that he’s going to win.”
For some reason, their initially anxious mood turned calm upon hearing Faye’s reply, and they looked toward Bjorne in the ring once again…
As it happened, that was the precise moment Bjorne stood up at the edge of the ring.
