The other two men walked over and asked, “Raine, who is that? Is he your friend?”
The man appeared to be very calm when he spoke but he was rather anxious in truth.
“He seems to be rather conceited to have the audacity to crash our class. He’s gone too far.”
Even though the university students had the freedom to choose their classes, very few people did that generally.
Moreover, Paul showed up to the class out of nowhere and left without greeting the others after the class ended. He seemed to be very disrespectful of his classmates.
Raine Lee furrowed her brows ever so slightly and said, “He’s not my friend.”
Those men were relieved in their hearts upon hearing Raine’s remark. They were well aware of the lack of possibility of them dating Raine because Raine had high standards for men and she would not be attracted to them.
However, it was a torment for them to witness their goddess flirting with another man.
Raine grunted once. She did not ponder too much on this issue because Paul was just a stranger to her after all.
She did not want to be like those idiotic female leads in soap operas who would go out of their way for men who did not wish to be with them.
Hence, she had forgotten about Paul soon enough. After attending two more classes, she had lunch with her friends in the cafeteria. She immediately frowned as soon as she arrived at the cafeteria.
It was because she saw more than ten people show up before her. One of them was a sleek-haired man with a malicious-looking smile on his face. Her mood was ruined by the sight of him and she wanted to beat him up.
“Look, that’s Shaun. It’s your top suitor, Raine.”
Another woman next to Raine immediately teased her after seeing that.
In truth, Shaun was good-looking, well-built and followed by a bunch of lackeys. It could be said that he was an eyecatching lad that women would fall for.
However, Raine did not fancy rich kids like him, especially after she learned about the rich kid’s rumor. She loathed him even more.
She frowned, turned around and left while she said, “I must be jinxed to be bumping into this man. Let’s eat elsewhere.”
Just as she was about to leave, Shaun noticed her and his eyes lit up at once. Moreover, he called out loudly, “My goddess Raine, you’re here. What a coincidence because I was just on my way to see you at your dorm!”
Shaun spoke so loudly that everyone else in the cafeteria heard him and looked over.
On the other hand, Raine’s expression immediately changed drastically upon hearing his remark. She complained in her heart about how unlucky she was for being noticed by Shaun. It would be hard for her to leave without his notice.
However, she pretended as if she had not heard him but she sped up to leave sooner.
How would Shaun allow her to leave? He quickened his pace to rush over to her and blocked her path immediately. He eyed her all over her body with his invasive gaze.
He looked at her body and face yearningly and swallowed a gulp of saliva. Raine found it disgusting.
“How can I help you?” said Raine coldly. Her disgust was so obvious it was almost written out on her face.
Shaun seemed to be used to Raine’s coldness.
He did not feel sad or embarrassed at all but on the contrary, he beamed wider and said cheekily, “That is of course. My goddess, I’ve been waiting painstakingly for you.”
“You told me that you’d considered being my girlfriend previously so are you going to say yes to me now?”
Raine said, “I’m sorry. I have yet to make up my mind so please let me think it over.”
“Huh? I’ve already given you plenty of time. Raine, don’t be fooling around with me. You know how I am,” said Shaun cheekily. His tone was filled with threat.
Raine immediately felt immense pressure. Just as she was at a loss of what to do, her gaze looked past Shaun all of a sudden and found someone in the corner. Her eyes lit up and she blurted, “I have a boyfriend…”
