He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles seemed to be popping. It looked like his eyes were about to shoot fire and his body was even trembling slightly from rage.
As for the students who came with Raine, they widened their eyes in surprise too. What the heck was going on? Raine had actually kissed the lad.
She was sacrificing so much for the sake of this! They knew that the man was not Raine’s boyfriend but just a stranger.
“F*ck! What did I just see? Did the goddess Raine kiss another man for real?”
“I’m heartbroken…”
“Oh God, tell me that it’s not real! This must be a delusion. It must be a dream!”
“Hmph. The lad is dead meat for kissing Raine in front of Shaun. He will die a terrible death!”
“Haha, you’re right. The lad is dead. Who doesn’t know that Shaun likes Raine? The lad is doomed…”
They were howling in sorrow initially, but they immediately smirked and gloated in Leonardo’s misfortune after seeing the anger bubbling within Shaun.
They agreed unanimously that Leonardo was dead. Moreover, he would die a very, very tragic death. After all, Shaun was so good at fighting that even the boxing trainer outside of the campus was no match for him.
Leonardo soon noticed the situation around him. He figured out the situation immediately after seeing the people around him and sensing Shaun’s murderous intent. He figured that Raine merely used him as her buffer.
It made him feel rather gloomy.
Was he truly born with the quality of being someone’s buffer?
When he was still living with his in-laws, women had used him as their buffer although he was now already one step away from the invincibilis state.
Moreover, he kept such a low profile in the university, yet he was still used as someone’s buffer. He had to hand it to that.
“Why is it that every woman uses me as a buffer? Sigh.” Leonardo heaved a sigh and felt frustrated.
On the other hand, Raine held him in contempt upon hearing his remark.
She assumed that he was only bluffing because how would many women use him as a buffer when he looked so ordinary? If she was not out of options, she would not have used him as her buffer.
“Hey, you took my first kiss earlier, so you have to bear the responsibility. From now on, you’re my boyfriend for the day!” said Raine.
Leonardo did not have the slightest interest to be involved in the love triangle of these university students, so he stood up and huffed bluntly, “You’re crazy.”
Raine was infuriated by his remark instantly. She loathed the lad for calling her crazy. One should know that she was a universally-recognized goddess with countless men competing against each other for her attention!
Noticing that Leonardo was leaving, she panicked. She would be at a loss after sacrificing her first kiss without getting anything back in return!
In a rush, she grabbed Leonardo’s hand and said, “Hey, stop there!”

Raine stamped her foot in rage and said, “You have to be responsible.”
