Shaun had thought about that. Losing to Richard was fine, but it was a completely different situation for Richard to learn that he was a member of a club.
He had to run because his club committed quite a number of crimes against the people of the sovereign nation, and it would certainly be bad if he was caught.
Richard’s eyes glistened upon noticing Shaun’s reaction. He was rather surprised, but his eyes were filled with even more bloodlust.
Shaun’s act of fleeing in a hurry signified that he was motivated by guilt and fear. That showed that Shaun had committed quite a number of heinous crimes.
How could Richard let someone like that off the hook?
“Trying to leave, huh?”
Richard let out a harsh grunt before he charged toward Shaun like lightning.
He caught up to Shaun instantly without any exaggerated movements as if he had just walked over casually. He grabbed Shaun’s neck from behind and pulled him back.
Shaun felt even more terrified when his neck was grabbed, and he regretted his previous actions even more. He would not have dared to engage Richard in a fight if he had known this would happen!
“Die!”
At that point, Shaun did not care about anything else. Before anyone realized, a dagger appeared in his hand and tried to stab Richard in the chest.
He moved so fast that not even a Tier-2 master fighter could dodge his attack under such circumstances.
However, Shaun’s attack was practically slow motion to someone as powerful as Abraham.
Richard grabbed Shaun’s dagger in a relaxed, leisurely manner and seized it. He then stabbed it into Shaun’s thigh and twisted it.
Shaun let out the most agonizing scream!
He then stumbled and tumbled to the ground. He was gasping for air, his face ghastly pale and forehead drenched in cold sweat. His eyes were filled with fear and anxiety as he looked at Abraham.
He could sense Richard’s power and found it to be extremely terrifying. He was no different than a child in Richard’s presence. He figured that a powerhouse like Richard was certainly an important figure among the countries.
He cursed himself inwardly and regretted all he had done. He wondered how he had been so unlucky as to have encountered a powerhouse like Abraham.
He would not have shown himself earlier if he had known how it would end up.
Everything happened too quickly for the others watching. When Richard stabbed the dagger into Shaun’s thigh, many people were startled by the sight of his gushing blood.
The timid female students were scared to tears and covered their eyes.
Raine was stunned. She stood on the spot, her mind not functioning. What the heck was going on? How did the situation devolve into this?
Even if it was a fight resulting from jealous rival suitors, it would not have been so grisly, would it?
In truth, she was not alone in thinking this. The others had the same thoughts, and the university students had never experienced a situation like this before.
Shaun was gasping for air. He realized that he could not run anymore, so he raised his head to look at Richard and begged, “Don’t kill me, don’t kill, I’m begging you…”
Richard looked down at him from above and said, “I’m going to ask you one last time, how long have you been lurking here?”
