Prince William clenched his teeth tightly and felt his anger and disgust toward Richard reach their peak. In fact, he wanted to shed all pretences of cordiality that instant so he could order the bodyguards to beat up Richard ferociously.
Richard understood Alice’s personality well enough to know that she was a proud, cold woman who had never been so eagerly attentive and hospitable to a man.
Hence, he was certain that there was something inappropriate between Alice and Richard.
Alice was his fiancée, yet she had actually engaged in that form of relationship with a lowly Rheasian. Richard was furious at the thought of this and his expression was savage.

Meanwhile, Richard said, “Ms. Alice, it seems that your boyfriend is not very fond of me. It’s best for me not to bother you anymore. I’ll be fine hailing a taxi.”
Richard did not think too much into it. Alice was just a passerby in his life to him. In fact, she was not even considered a passerby but just a chance acquaintance who he would never meet again.
Although Alice was at risk from being targeted by an assassin, Richard could still tail her and save her at the right time.
Alice immediately furrowed her brow and said to Prince William, “Your Royal Highness, are you not fond of my friend?”
Prince William was stunned. It was apparent that he did not expect that Richard would have the audacity to do this to him. It was despicable of Richard.
Richard panicked even more when he saw Alice’s gaze obviously tainted with displeasure and disgust, so he hastily shook his head and said, “No, don’t be silly. Since he is your friend, how could I not be fond of him?”
“Hmm.” Alice nodded and said to Stefan, “He’s the prince of Yingland and he loves his people dearly, so he is fond of you too.”
Richard was rather astonished to learn Prince William’s identity. Richard did not expect that he would encounter the prince of Yingland as soon as he arrived in the country. It was a lucky coincidence.
“May I inquire who the Queen of Yingland is to you?” asked Richard out of curiosity.
Prince William immediately stood up straight and said proudly, “Her Majesty is my grandmother! She’s also the most powerful ruler of Yingland.”
Richard nodded and was not surprised to learn that.
Noticing Richard’s reaction, Prince William assumed that Richard was shocked by his noble identity. The pride on his face could not be concealed. Richard was the superior prince and considered an truly honorable man to a commoner like Richard.
Next, Richard got into the car with Alice.
Prince William had wanted Richard to take the car at the back so that he could have some privacy with Alice, but the damned Rheasian was incapable of reading the situation.
Instead of going to a separate vehicle, he followed them and got into the same car.
The prince was furious.
Alice was delighted that she could chat with Richard more.
“Cough, cough. Larson, may I know why you are visiting Yingland?” Prince William felt embarrassed to see howjoyous Alice and Richard were chatting while he was incapable of joining the conversation, so he interrupted them.
Alice was displeased by Prince William’s behavior and assumed he was too narrow-minded, without an ounce of royalty magnanimousness.
Richard chuckled and said, “I’m here to meet the Queen.”
Upon hearing that, Prince William was stunned. Not only him, Alice was astonished and assumed that she heard it wrongly. Richard was actually here to meet the Queen?
