Prince William could not keep himself from chuckling. “I’m sorry. I didn’t hear you earlier. Who did you say you’re here to meet again?”
Steven darted a look at him and said nonchalantly, “Your grandmother.”
Alice smirked a little upon hearing Steven’s remark. Prince William shook his head and assumed that Steven was mentally if he had come to Yingland to meet the Queen.
“I’m sorry but you might not be able to meet Her Majesty. Her Majesty lives in the seclusion of her home and barely leaves the house, so she won’t be meeting with ordinary people,” Prince William remarked sarcastically.
Rowan was mocking Steven for not being qualified to meet the Queen.
Actually, it was not really mockery because it was the truth. Did Steven think that he could just walk into a room and meet the Queen?
Steven smiled in reply but did not bother to explain further.
All of a sudden, he felt the bloodlust from earlier again. Moreover, it was more intense and powerful than before!

Alice agreed that Steven was being rather boastful to claim that he was here to meet the Queen.

Steven rolled his eyes at Prince William for being so slow.
“I said that both of you have been targeted by an assassin.” Steven repeated himself.
This time, Prince William heard it clearly and burst out laughing aloud, “Steven from Rheasia, you have a good sense of humor. Do you know who I am? I’m Prince William of Yingland and I’m loved by Her Majesty.”
“I’m going to take over Yingland in the future and now you’re claiming that there’s an assassin coming for me?”
Upon saying that, he shook his head. The more he interacted with Alder, the more he found Steven to be mentally unstable. First, he claimed he had come to meet the Queen and then that there was an assassin.
Who in all of Yingland had the audacity to assassinate the prince?
Were they trying to get himself killed?
However, Alice furrowed her brows. Her intuition told her that Steven was not mentally unstable. She immediately stared at him and asked in a deep voice, “Alder, are you sure we’ve been targeted by an assassin?”
