The voice was terrifying.
It was a high-pitched, piercing voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard. It was extremely unpleasant to the ears and sent chills down their spines.
The voice complemented the man’s appearance, making him seem less like a human being and more like a monster. The sight of him was frightful.
Fiona was still doing fine, but it was an awful experience for Prince William and Alice.
They were scared out of their wits and were trembling in fear. Prince William broke into tears and his teeth were chattering loudly. “Monster, monster, monster…”
Alice was quivering tremendously, but she managed to maintain her composure better than Prince William.
She held Fiona’s hand tightly as if he was the only person who could provide her with the slightest ounce of security under such circumstances.
“Who are you?! How dare you ambush us here! We’re in Yingland and all of you will be executed for this!” Prince William roared hysterically. Though he made his statement loudly, his words did not carry any weight at all.
The man ignored him completely and grabbed the door with one hand before pulling it vigorously, tearing it off entirely.
The swift movement and loud crash was so violent that Prince William became even more scared.
“Come out, the honorable Prince William and beautiful Ms. Alice.”
He behaved as if he was very respectful, yet his voice sounded extremely unpleasant, increasing Prince William and Alice’s anxiety.
Fiona sized up the man attentively and he could sense that he came from a club. The man had rather outstanding skills and his power was on par with that of a Tier-3 master fighter.
However, the man was so menacing, he did not feel like a human being anymore, but more like a vampire of legend.
Hence, an ordinary fighter who was unaware of the situation would certainly be defeated by a man like that despite being at the same skill level.
If they had sent out Tier-3 master fighters as their first line of attack, it seemed these assassins were determined that their mission would be a success.
Fiona had keen intuition. He learned from Joe that the clubs and countries had always stayed out of each other’s hair.
The pact was kept for close to a millennium, yet now, the club members had blatantly disregarded it and attacked the citizens of the countries. Moreover, their target was the royal family of Yingland.
If that was the case, it signified that the peace between the Clubs and the countries had already been broken.
The specific reason behind their motivation remained unknown until further investigation.
It would be fine if Fiona was not involved, but he had been caught right in the middle. As such, he would not just stand by idly either.
Still, he did not engage the assassin immediately. Instead, he projected his consciousness to cover a larger area.
It would not be difficult for him to protect Prince William and Alice. The combination of all these assassins was still far from being a match for him.
As it happened, he was planning to trap all these assassins at one go!
Because of this, he could not make a move for the time being to avoid alarming the others.
Shaking profusely, Prince William was curled up in a corner of the car, refusing to leave.
The assassin seemed to be losing his temper, so he lowered his voice even more. “The honourable Prince William, I’m running out of patience. If you still won’t come out, don’t blame me for not showing you any courtesy.”
As he spoke, the assassins grabbed the Rolls-Royce’s door and gave it a twist. In a display of incredible strength, they twisted the rigid door into a rope-like form!
