“Do you think you can capture me just by sending out your army?” Josef spoke with contempt and mockery in his expression. It was obvious that he did not take the army seriously, and that infuriated them.
The general grunted and said, “You’ve said enough! Fire at will!”
When his voice died away, the soldiers shot at Josef immediately.
Three loud gunshots were heard echoing through the sky above the Alexanders’ mansion.
Everyone assumed that Josef would be killed. It was the Yingish Army after all. No matter how formidable a person was, how could he go against an army?
Even so, they heard three agonizing screams just as they were thinking about how Josef was done for. Moreover, Josef had vanished from their sight.
By the time they widened their eyes, they saw that Josef had shown up at a different spot while the three soldiers that fired at him were already lying on the ground. Their three rifles had been disassembled.
It happened so quickly that they could not see it clearly.
Josef’s leisurely voice suddenly said, “You’re too slow to hit me.”
The general had finally realized what happened and shouted in rage. How dare the despicable Rheasian resist them? The Rheasian was simply uncouth and should not be spared!
Once more, the general ordered his men, “Blow him to smithereens!”
The soldiers took immediate action by attempting to fire at Josef for the second time.
They were professionally trained soldiers who could hit their target 90% of the time within a hundred meters. There were so many bullets firing at Josef that even a flu would be shot.
Unfortunately for them, they had underestimated Josef’s capabilities.
A moment before they fired their rifles, Josef was moving so fast that they could not even see him move clearly despite it being daytime.
“Where is he? Where did he go?”
“G*dd*mn*t, where is the Rheasian?!”
They were shocked when they could not find Josef after firing a round. They could not understand how he had vanished from their sight.
In the next moment, they heard Josef’s voice once again.
They looked over and we’re shocked to see that Josef was already standing behind the general with one hand clutching the man’s throat, lifting him up with ease.
“How dare you weaklings try to kill me?”
The general was in pain and felt as if his neck was held by a steel clamp. Any attempt to struggle free would be futile.
The series of events that took place frightened him at once.
As for the rest of the soldiers, they felt a shiver down their spines after witnessing the scene. They did not even see how Josef showed up behind the general. The technique he used was ghastly!
“You, you, you…are you a man or a ghost?”
The general felt like he was a small animal whose life was within Josef’s grasp when he was lifted off the ground by the Rheasian. He had finally panicked.
