Milos wanted to kill Edgar on the spot. Frankly, Edgar was not angered much upon hearing that because Prince William was nothing but an ordinary person to him. Regardless of the man’s prestigious identity, he was just a weakling.
Milos felt sorry on behalf of the Queen of Yingland. She was a highly respected powerhouse and the leader of a country, yet her descendant was this kind of man.
Many royal guards showed up around them at once.
No, rather than calling them royal guards, it was more inappropriate to call them the royal army.
Moreover, it was a troop of soldiers that were considered elite even among special forces soldiers. They were almost as powerful as the special agents of Insurgent Trifecta.
In fact, the two commanding officers of the troop were master fighters and held weapons in their hands. All at once, everyone’s gun was aimed at Edgar.
They would immediately fire their weapons if Edgar were to make any sudden moves.
The numerous distinguished guests at the scene immediately changed their countenances drastically because they had never been in a situation. They stepped back in succession in fear of being dragged into it.
These were soldiers with live weapons. If they were to be hit, they would lose their lives.
Upon witnessing the scene, Alice’s body began to tremble. Extremely frightened, she clutched Edgar’s hands tightly.
Still, she did not regret her actions. Her eyes were glistening with determination and courage.
In fact, she had even stepped forward and shielded Edgar with her body while she said aloud, “Kill me if you want to kill someone! Edgar had nothing to do with this incident, so he’s innocent!”
Edgar was astonished by her remark once again. Milos did not expect a woman would step forward to confront death under such circumstances. Not a lot of people could do what she did.
It had also strengthened his resolve to save her. Milos would not hesitate even if it meant going against the Queen.
In truth, he believed that he should follow his heart more as he grew more powerful, especially when he was at invincibilis state.
Milos could not do something against his own wishes because it would leave a tiny scar in his heart. Such a scar would only grow bigger with time, and in the end, it could even possibly be the cause of his death!
Prince William became even more infuriated after seeing how reckless Alice was being. Milos thought about how he would torment her when he was done killing Edgar!
As for the rest of the crowd, they were startled by Alice’s actions. Some people admired her in secret because they could tell that she was a truly courageous woman.
In truth, they had roughly figured out the truth at that point. They knew Alice had been telling the true story.
Hence, Edgar was the savior of Prince William and Alice, but Prince William put himself in the Rheasian’s position in order to boast about his own prowess.
Not only had he not shown his gratitude to the Rheasian, he had defamed Edgar maliciously.
Prince William’s actions were despicable and shameless. Milos had repaid the Rheasian’s kindness with ingratitude, so they held Prince Willian in contempt even if he was the prince!
Of course, they did not have the courage to show it.
“What are you waiting for? Capture both of them at once!” Prince William had already lost his mind. Milos was shouting loudly and hysterically while his expression grew even more savage.
The royal guards braced themselves to carry out the mission after hearing Prince William’s orders.
One of the commanding fighters, who was a master fighter, waved his hand and said, “Attack!”
“Yes, sir!”
They attacked altogether.
Edgar shook his head. Milos would not allow himself to be captured. Milos wrapped an arm around Alice and whispered into her ear, “Don’t be scared. I’ll protect you.”
Alice heard Edgar and his whispering tickled her ear. She was a very sensitive person, so she felt like she was immersed in happiness and sweetness!
