“Tee-hee, you’re finally here, Barne. Very well, very well.”
A ghastly, malicious voice came from the other end of the line. The voice emitted a high-pitched frequency and produced a piercing noise like that of nails on chalkboard. It was extremely unpleasant to hear.
Needless to say, the speaker was certainly an important member of the Order of the Reverence. Barne could tell how powerful they were just by listening to the voice.
The speaker was a perfect-class master fighter!
Barne felt his heart sink constantly upon hearing that, not because he was afraid of the speaker, but because it meant that all of the Falcon Squad’s members had been captured by the Order of the Reverence.
If that were the case, the Falcon Squad was in danger, and it was highly possible that the squad members had already been killed!
All their messages had been sent the day before while he was still in isolated training, so he had missed the best time to rescue them and he regretted it very much!
However, he did not panic. Instead, he calmed himself quickly and said, “It will be best for you to free the Falcon Squad, or else I will crush all of you.”
“Crush all of us, huh? You’re a big talker!”
It was apparent that the person was infuriated by Barne’s remark. Soon afterward, they sniggered tyrannically. “I wasn’t planning on hurting these weaklings initially, but I’d like to see how you’re going to crush us.”
Soon afterward, the sound of Tucker’s agonizing scream could be heard coming through the phone.
Barne was furious upon hearing that and could not suppress the bloodlust in his heart anymore.
“That’s enough!” Barne yelled in a deep voice and then said coldly, “I’m your target, so there’s no need to make things difficult for them. Give me the address and I shall head over there now.”
The person had the call on loudspeaker. Following Barne’s remark, Tucker could be heard roaring, “Sir, don’t come! It’s a trap! They’re… Gah!”
An agonizing scream was heard once again before Tucker could finish his sentence.
Richard screamed in a very sad and bitter tone. It was apparent that he was in a great deal of pain.
As he held the phone, Barne felt the urge to kill surging in his chest like a storm that he could not suppress.
Even so, he had yet to lose his composure and continued to speak in a deep voice, “Give me the address.”
“Hah-hah-hah-hah…” The speaker said, “Bjorne, it seems that you’re a righteous man. All the people in your common world are so righteous! Very well.”
“We’re at Rowling Island and you have half an hour to get here. Otherwise, you’ll be leaving with their corpses!”
“Alright.”
Barne hung up the call right away and crushed the phone in his hand out of rage.
The Order of the Reverence!
His pupils were burning with fury, and he felt the urge to kill all the members of this club.
Richard was not planning on getting too involved with the Order of the Reverence initially, yet the club had threatened him with the Falcon Squad. Because of that, he would not mind destroying the so-called Order of the Reverence!
Without hesitation, he quickly changed and left in long strides.
Meanwhile, the Queen walked over and furrowed her brows after sensing Barne’s bloodlust. She asked him, “Did the Order of the Reverence come looking for trouble?”
Barne was not surprised by the Queen’s sharp senses. Richard nodded and narrated the incident earlier to her in a deep voice.
The Queen did not waste time making small talk and said, “Do you need me to come with you?”
Barne was grateful for her kindness, but he shook his head and said, “No need for that. I shall go by myself.”
