One could tell at one glance that those men were not good people. Their entire bodies were covered in tattoos, and it was apparent that they were thugs based on their expressions and mannerisms.
They were sizing up Jordan with narrowed eyes that revealed their ill intentions. It was apparent that they were already cooking up a scheme to rob him.
On the other hand, Jordan appeared to be oblivious. Morten continued to pull out all that money and even said to the manager, “Sir, may I inquire where the nearest bank is? I have too much cash on me, so I would like to deposit some of it.”
Morten spoke in a rather loud voice, so everyone in the restaurant heard him and they looked over in succession!
Moreover, they saw Jordan holding a thick stack of cash in his hand and they could tell at one glance that it was a large amount. Morten was holding at least 100,000 dollars!
Never mind the thugs, even the rest of the crowd were staring with covetous eyes!
They thought Jordan must have been some kind of mogul.
Moreover, he was a mogul flush with cash!
If Jordan was a single Rheasian mogul carrying loads of cash, even if they were to rob him, the consequences would be negligible!
The thugs and the rest of the crowd were kicking their lips as they thought about robbing Jordan.
Of course, Jordan knew very well what was on their minds.
In reality, he did it on purpose. His motives for coming to Murica were different from when he went to Yingland.
When he journeyed there,he was ready to be allies with the Queen, so naturally, he did not plan to create trouble in Yingland.
However, Murica was different. There was already enmity between Jordan and the country from the start. Moreover, Adam had attempted to murder him at one point.
Even if he were to meet him without any bad intentions, Adam was not going to treat him with kindness.
Jordan was a very intelligent man, so why would he extend a hand to a man who would not accept it?
As such, he planned to cause trouble in America before he even arrived. Morten would make so much noise that Adam would have no choice but to fight him!
At that point, he would be able to challenge Adam at his convenience.
Moreover, he planned to do so because he had decided he did not want to waste the trip to Murica. So many of its citizens despised Rheasians!
Morten wanted to seize the opportunity to boost the reputation of Rheasians in Murica, so the Muricans would know that Rheasians were not to be bullied!
Morten would be killing two birds with one stone.
As such, the simplest way to stir up trouble was by getting the attention of these thugs by showing off his wealth.
