Even though they had accepted the fact that Jagoan was powerful and had the ability to compete against King Erik, they found it extremely shocking to witness him kill his opponent!
It came as a crushing blow to all the members of the club’s world. It was unprecedented.
The members of Regicide Heofon were deadly silent and widened their eyes in surprise. They were astounded and could not believe that the scene before them was real.
King Erik had actually lost. Their fellow trainee who was unmatched by any of his peers had actually lost. Moreover, he had been beaten to death!
It was a shockingly brutal scene for them!
Hence, no one made a sound for a long time.
On the other hand, it was great news to the fighters from Rheasia!
Jagoan had won! Their all-conquering Sergeant Larson had won!
The silence lasted for a few seconds before applause and cheering erupted. People were hugging each other and tearing up.
Over in Yando City, Sienna shed tears in silence, smiling as she softly said, “I told you that you’d win for sure…”
Conversely, over at the other side, Osiris was hastily trying to leave Rheasia with Faye. He was taking her back to Regicide Heofon when the communicator in his pocket rang all of a sudden.
Pulling it out and answering, he stood up instantly, his expression filled with shock and anger.
“What? Erik was killed in battle? Uh…”
Upon saying that, he felt as if the vision before his eyes darkened. The news had almost made him lose consciousness.
King Erik was way too important to him. In fact, King Erik was even more important to him than his son Javier!
He had put great hopes on King Erik, yet Jagoan had killed him in battle?
The lifetime of teaching, hard work, and effort that he spent on King Erik had been wasted all because of Jagoan!
Next to him, Faye was stunned for a moment upon hearing that, but she soon could not could not contain her joy and blurted out, “That’s awesome!”
She sensed an intense bloodlust as soon as she uttered those words. It enshrouded her and made her look up to her father.
She immediately shut her mouth, lowered her head, and stopped speaking. Still, she could not keep the smile from her lips.
Her constantly worried mind was finally put at ease. Jagoan had won. If he was the victor, she could relax.
Her heart would be at peace as long as Jagoan was alive and well. As long as she knew he was living happily, she would no longer feel lost or scared no matter what happened.
It was the ideal display of love. As long as the lover was happy, her hardship would be worth it.
“Are you happy?” Osiris’ tone was icy cold.
Faye shook her head and said, “No.”
Osiris let out a grunt and said, “Jagoan is dead!”
